***QOTD Friday, 3-25-2011***

Okay so I am running late to work, again and it got me to thinking.... FH is always late to plans with friends, if he says meet me there at 3, you might as well go at 3:30! It drives me nuts! With the exception of work, I'm on time to everything! I hate being late!

So....My question is.... What quirks do you have the FH has had to learn to live with, and vise versa? For instance, I leave all of the cabiinet doors open, drives FH bonkers! He has learned to just shut them behind me and forget about it! HAHA!!!

He can never wake up- getting him out of bed takes like an hour

Which then makes him late for everything

He also gets really angry and defensive really quickly!

I never put my clothes/shoes away

It's funny you said that bc last night I got kinda annoyed w/ him for a similar reason. We had plans to go run errands after I got out of work(he gets out 3 hours before me),so I rushed home from work, ate dinner real quick and told him I was ready. Well I ended up waiting almost an hour for him to be ready bc he decided last minute to do some laundry and take a shower. I'm like REALLY??? He couldn't do that 3 hours before, he waited till I got home Idk I don't get guys sometimes lol

And I always leave the fridge open (cause im a fatty and am always in there)

I must say that FH falls asleep SO easily & on top of that he sleeps like the dead and is difficult to wake up..quite annoying.
& with me...I'm just a typical slob and he is so neat it borderlines OCD status so you can imagine how irritated he gets with me
but for some unexplained reason we still love each other. Hahaha

This question made my day.

I get annoyed when I get home and FH clothes is on the bed cause they didn't make it to the closet and stay like that until it's time to go to sleep....lol.

He gets annoyed that I keep my hangers on the doors and it bothers him when he has to go close the door and the hangers fall off....lol

OMG we are date twins and prettty sure we're marrying the same person! LOL

FH gets annoyed with me b/c I don't mind if dishes are in the sink or laundry in the basket... I'm always like wait isn't the girl supposed to nag the boy about that kind of stuff?

He takes for. ev. er. to get ready. Showering, picking out clothes... and he always waits until the last minute.

The annoying thing is that if I keep him waiting, or if he's looking for something and can't find it... watch out! I have about 46 seconds before Mount MikeyT erupts!!

He is late, he takes forever to wake up, He leaves dirty clothes right in front of the hamper. I have to ask him 4 days ahead of when I want to do laundry to bring the hampers downstairs by the washing machines. He forgets EVERYTHING like when he gets me food I can remind him 20 times to get ketchup and OMG he forgot the ketchup lol. Its silly things like that lol

MEE I am perrrrfect He would actually say that I leave the fridge open too long like when I am putting stuff away or cooking I forget sometimes lol.

I can nag about things sometimes but tahts only beacause he doesn't do it the first time lol.

I also need to plan things waaaay ahead of time and he is more of a last minute person.

My quirks:

1) I will randomly start talking in baby voice for however long I feel I want to and he just has to deal with it.

2) I have a habit of leaving every light on in the house (though I am getting better about that)

3) I will radnomly break out into song and dance.


His quirks:

1) he whines likes a 5 year old whenever I drag him food or clothes shopping. Seriously, he stomps his feet and causes a scene so I hurry up and we can get out of there. To retaliate, I do the same when he's in Gamestop LOL

We dont live together yet but I'm am totally messy and he is crazy neat. He wouldn't dust a thing if his life depended on it but god forbid a shoe is out of place.

I'm also late for everything it drives him nuts. Then when he is behind schedule I go bananas.

well he has to deal with the fact that im so messy and i will leave clean laundry in a basket for days before i hang it up and i have to deal with him being the worlds SLOWEST driver!! seriously squirrels on the side of parkway are moving faster than us

He used to never refill the toilet paper and instead place the new roll on top of the empty roller. soooo annoying!!!! I finally called him on it and he has been so much better about that. Other things that annoy me is that he'll sit and watch tv/play games, etc if we are going somewhere stating that he's 'all done and waiting for me'

then when I am ready to go, he'll get up and say 'ok, i just have to brush my teeth' Ok, I have to just find some socks.' ETC and it drives me CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. U are not really ready to go then, are you???

He gets very annoyed that I don't close things ever. LIke the jar of the peanu butter wont be all the way tightened, the ziplock bag of the coldcuts won't be zipped all the way. LOL he hates it and I try to be concious about it but sometimes I don't realize I'm doing it.

He also hates it when I don't use a coaster

Oh god lol...we live together and where do i start

He never makes the bed i always come home to the bankets rolled all around together

He is horrible to get up unless it is something he has to do which annoys the hell out of me!

I dont do dished until the sink is full lol and never remember to rinse my plates off

I also leave my shoes everywhere

So far, the only thing that bothers me is that when he folds the laundry, he folds the design on the inside so all the black shirts look the same and I don't know which is which...

but hey! At least he's doing the laundry. (when he's here)


eta: I forgot to add his pet peeve of mine. He HATES my driving. I drive like a NYer and he's always afraid he's going to die
