*** QOTD Friday 6/15 ****

TGIF!!!! So happy it's Friday. This work week went by fast I hope the weekend goes by slow


NWR: As the summertime is approaching one of today's questions is:
What is your favorite thing about the summer? For those who don’t like the summer what about it don’t you like?

WR: Veil or no veil?

NWR: I love the summertime because I feel there is so much more to do such as going to the beach, the pool, BBQs, so many outdoor events. I also love that I don't need to wear a lot of clothes to stay warm; just throw on a summer dress or some shorts and some sandals. And the sun is out later.

WR: Veil - I wasn't sure what type of veil I wanted to get but I tried on my dress with a long Cathedral veil and it was so beautiful. So that's what I plan on getting.

NWR: My favorite thing about the summer in no particular order: beach, swimming, BBQ, drinking outside, having a tan, and my birthday.

WR: If you asked me a year ago I would've told you I hate veils blah blah. Now I want the longest freaking veil ever.

I didn't buy my veil yet but I'm also going to have a long Cathedral veil. I tried one on with my dress and it all came together; it was so beautiful.

NWR: I love summer! There's so much more to do with my son. Plus I love those summer barbeques where we end up sitting on the patio all night listening to music, drinking Margaritas, and laughing a lot. Plus I love cute dresses and sandals.

WR: i'm undecided on the veil issue, but i'm leaning towards no. I must want a simple down hairstyle, and a veil seems so fussy. And its do much money for a piece of glorified mosquito netting. If I do go with one, I'll probably just borrow my MOHs.

NWR:
Summer is meh. I get burned within seconds outside and I just don't stand up in heat well. Substantial heat makes me want to curl inside in the AC. /

That said, I'm totally with others here about it being camping season, bonfires, s`mores, fire spinning season and Pennsic (I'll be surprised if anyone knows what that is here). So.. it can't be that bad.

WR: Absolutely no veil. I'm wearing a circle - metal or flowers to be decided once I have a dress.

I love summer, I just hate when its humid. I wish we got Vegas or Cali heat. That I love! I love the longer days and all the sunlight, BBQs and going to the pool. I love wearing sandals and flip flops. I hate havjng my feet covered. Even at night when Im sleeping I usually dont cover my feet lol.

Def plan on wearing a veil. I think I want a cathedral length veil. Ive always loved the way is looks as your walking down the aisle.

I love the beach, so that's one of my favorite things about summer. That and BBQ (YUM!)

Definitely don't want to wear a veil. FH is pushing it hard, but I have no desire. When I got my dress, they put a veil on me, but I HATED it. So I doubt FH will get his way on this one

I love the summer!!! It makes it alot easier with a one year old plus just throw on short and flip flops and off you go. I love all the flowers, pool, beach and bbq's.

Im going to have a veil but cant say what kind due to FH stalking LIW lol

VEIL!

NWR: The nice weather! Days like today and a little bit warmer! The perfect sky blue that is over us right now... my wedding color is sky blue because of the blue summer sky

WR: It depends on the dress! But probably, yes to the veil.

NWR: I love having a tan and spending weekends at the lake with my friends. One of my bridesmaids has a cottage on Lake Ontario - I'm there at least every other weekend!

Yes, I have a veil. A cathedral length veil. They put one on me when I was trying on dresses and I couldn't resist.

I love that it's light out later and I love bike riding and going to the beach.

Not totally sure on the veil because I'm thinking about doing a bird cage veil. If not, then no veil. I do looove those long long veils but it's not for me. I love big head pieces with flowers, etc and I have one of those!

I love...not having to work! I'm not a huge fan of the summer because I enjoy it being nicer out and sunnier/lighter longer, but I really dislike the heat. Anything over 80 makes me feel like I can't breathe bc my allergies always get out of whack

I love the look of mantillas, but my personal style has me leaning towards a birdcage - we'll see what happens once I find a dress

I love beach days with my fiance'! We both took off from work on Monday and went.... it was cloudy and we got sunburn.... we're awesome haha

bEaCH!! We go to the drive on beach sore thumb every chance we can get!!

Already have my veil it's fingertip length with crystals along the edge. I actually bought it from a former liw bride!

NWR: the beach is the best part of summer esp on Long Island !


Veil: I am def going to be wearing a veil. When I go to Italy this summer with my grandma I and going to get lace to have put on my veil for the wedding
