QOTD GIRLS!!!!

good morning girls!!!!! hope everyone is having a great day...

ok so here we go..what extras did u pay for at thr rh if u got any?did u upgrade anything from chairs to food or whatever?

fh and i both decided we would each pick one thing to get..so i got ch which i got the chuck wagon which is pizza ,hot dogs and sliders cause u see how fancy i am and fh got for dessert since we r not big cake eaters a brooklyn sundae bar which has sundaes floats and milkshakes

hmm....the only thing I can think of is chair covers but I still haven't gotten them. I'm hoping that they will throw them in at some point. I hate the chairs at my RH!!!!

at this point we didnt do any extras that i know of. however, my mom may have added several thinks without my knowledge. cookies on the tables during dessert, choc fountain, extra beer selection?

we didnt pay for any extras at the rh but we are having a martini slide...lol there is already sooo much food so we opted to leave all as is. but we are having a cigar server at the rh to pass out cigars to our guests!

The only upgrade that we are actually paying for is the Cheesecake Martini bar for dessert. We liked the idea of a Viennese, because we really don't like cake, but it's very expensive at my RH and we don't have a big enough guest list to warrant having one that it wouldn't be a waste, both of food and money. The cheesecake was a nice alternative because it's much more me, cheesecakes and martinis baby, it's cute and different, and it was less expensive!

Other than that, the only other 'upgrade' is red and white wine on the table, but I can't really count that because we got it thrown in (although it really should be standard IMO.) We've been pretty frugal, if it doesn't come with the packages, we're not splurging.

we added cold and hot seafood to the cocktail hour, and viennese hour with a chocolate fountain

We added a martini slide and mashed potatoe bar to the CH, and wine on the tables, an ice cream bar, and chocolate fountain to the party.

WM already gave us things like the chair covers, wine on tables, passed martini's and a martini slide and there's so much food at CH, BUT the Mashed Potato Bar - after tasting it at the WM showcase...I had to have it!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't add anything extra. We are, however, debating about extending the cocktail hour to an hour and a half.....

We are not doing anything extra. We both felt that at JT there was so many choices that adding anything was not necessary. We are being given as an extra bottled red and white wine on the table.

We upgrading our menu to have 6 entrees instead of 4, because the 2 extra entrees includes a pork chop that is to die for!! Im not sure about the viennese table yet.

Hate to tell you that the red/white on the tables is standard for VL. They say they are throwing it in -- they do it for everyone!

I added the venetian hour.....and instead of haggen daaz they are getting us Tofutti ice cream. :)

we got a few extra's thrown in...

otherwise we are adding an extra hour to the reception and added a bagel & jelly favor to be passed out at the end of the reception...

we got thrown in:

martini bar
chocolate fountain
internation coffee bar
extra ice sculpture

Everything is included at our venue. They are really great about making sure we get everything we want....but it's not cheap!

all of my stuff that is 'extra' was thrown in by the RH (Chair covers, ice sculputure and Choc fountains)

we are also having a full VH It was a MUST for me I am a HUGE dessert person.

I think I may look into the martini louge not sure yet.
