for example my ex was a met fan..now the guy im dating is a yankee fan... so hmm all of a sudden i perfer the yanks LOL

Well since the ONLY reason we began chatting is because we were debating our Mets/Yankee rivalry (and mutual distaste for the other's team), I have to say that I'd NEVER do that!!!

But I will admit that in the past, I often changed things about myself based on my boyfriends' tastes at the time. Its something that most of us women do all too often and I learned over time that this is NOT a good thing to do ... compromising is one thing -- but our true individuality should not be compromised for anyone, especially a man

When I heard that we were getting a new department VP and that they only thing they knew about him was that he was short (5'4'), I wore the tallest, highest, scariest, pointyest shoes I could (I'm 5'6') to make an imposing presence.

I could barely walk the next day!!

I once dated a guy that smoked and although I was terribly allergic and still am....I started to smoke. Thank Goodness that didn't last. I would probably be dead!!!

I never really changed myself in terms of things I liked or things I thought a guy liked, but I think I changed my reactions to things that guys would do. Like, if I liked a guy, I would let it slide if he didn't call for a few days or didn't show up for something. Changing my ideals and sense of self-worth was the worst possible thing I ever could have done. Luckily I found a good one that I didn't have to change for!

i have been quoted as saying 'i am a new york fan' to save my A*S when referring to the mets and yanks LOL

When I began dating my first boyfriend when I was 15, he was really into the environment and was the president of the Environmental Club at his HS. So, I decided to take up the cause as well and became the founder and president of one at my school! The club actually lasted after we broke up, although by my senior year, I had pretty much succeeded in running it into the ground!

I still care about the environment, but you don't see me running to beach cleanups anymore!!

Other than that, I can't think of anything. I've always been pretty secure in my identity so that I never felt the need to change anything about myself to impress someone else. If they don't like it, too bad!
