QOTD - how does this work?

QOTD - how does this work?

I mean, seriously? What's going on here? I remember seeing this commercialized years ago in the Poconos and i had thought it seemed pretty cool back then. More recently though, I saw another add and this time I began questioning it.
What the heck??? How does one get INSIDE this 7-foot Champagne Glass Whirlpool (and mind you, the picture looks a heck of a lot taller that 7 ft to me). Is there a Ladder or something? And if so, how awkward would that feel to be climbing a ladder naked? And even worse when you're climbing back down, now WET & naked (and cold). I guess if I were in the situation, I'd have a towel ready. But still... the question lingers.

Any takers?

I love this questions because you're right...how does it get so high!

I think it must be low at first and then you press a button or remote or something like that to raise it. That's my guess

Hilarious! My question would be why would one WANT to be in a 7 foot whirlpool to begin with...?? the regular height ones are just fine..

My sister was in one in the poconos & told me it was a twirling staircase...although I don't see it in this pic.

hmmmm... a remote to RAISE it. That's some good speculation! Or that swirly staircase that does not exist in the picture. Strange.

I DO wonder why you would need to be 7 feet in the air as well. the champagne deal is an interesting idea of course, but you're right. The regular ones work just as well.

These are some good conclusions to this very confusing matter

LOL!! Its just the way the pic looks. I have stayed here before. There is a second floor, where the bed is. Its actually really cool. The bed is a circle and has stars that light up on the ceiling. But anyway that is how you get into the jacuzzi. There are no stairs its level with the second floor.

Aha!! So THAT'S how it works! It makes perfect sense. A second floor and then you climb inside just like a regular tub.
Thanks for clearing that up It's been eating at me for a while now. lol. I couldn't sleep last night and for SOME reason, that whirlpool was just playing on my mind, driving me crazy.

Ha! That raises another interesting question. If you fall out from being a little too wild, can you sue 'em for not warning you of the dangers of being inside a Champagne Glass?

I agree, someone, at sometime, must have been wet and slippery, and taken a tumble out of the side of the glass, and landed on that sunflower bouquet below. Do they really still have this there?

I wonder if they have a warning label on there

And what would this warning label say exactly?
'WARNING: not real champagne inside. Slippery when wet. Beware of the abnormally large sunflower bouquet below'

and that pulley system idea. LMAO!

hahahaha!!! I'd probably do the same thing. Isn't it like a jacuzzi though? I thought you couldn't put bubbles in jacuzzis. And the bubbles that they DO make just from the jacuzzi itself is never that fun soapy texture. So how can you overflow the room with that? You're brother must just be very skilled
