QOTD: If you could go back to high school to relive one event exactly as it happened, what would you pick?

Original post by Sasha96

I think it would either be the night I met DH (b/c I remember falling for him the second I saw him but not much else) or DH's prom b/c we had a blast!

I would definetly re-live meeting my first love all over again. I still look back and have such fond memories of those days.

me, too. It was probably the best time of my life, before DH.

I don't have a lot of wonderful memories of HS, actually .. I was painfully shy and it was a very strange, transitional period for me. I'd had a huge falling out with one 'set' of friends my first two years, then eventually found my place with another 'set' of friends. There was always a lot of tension, though

I NEVER dated in HS (too shy, as I said) and my first real boyfriend I only met my senior year. I was a late bloomer, what can I say

Ya see I went to an all-girls, Catholic H.S and it was amazingly cliquish and catty. Here I was , this average middle-class teen driving a little Honda and here were these other girls, rdiculously well-off , driving brand new Mercedes and giving off major attitude.

It wasn't my paretns fault really, but I would NEVER put my daughter through going to an ALL GIRLS parochial school.

My seior year was great, though, because I only went to school until 1pm on those days

I feel as though my life REALLY began well into my 20s .. those are my fondest memories .

School til 1pm in HS? Sounds like a dream! Although, how early did you have to go in?

Yup, it was pretty cool.. I was a geeky overachiever back then (no longer!) and I had doubled up some of my courses my first 3 years of HS in order to get the 1pm dismissal my senior year .. still went in regular time, l(ike 8:30 I think?)

Now how I wish I could leave WORK at even 3pm, let alone 1pm!

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the all-girls school. I spent 4 years in one too and loved it!! I was a total late bloomer and def. would have been eaten alive in a co-ed school.

I would've said no when that bad boy Mike asked me out - he caused nothing but heartache.....

I was very shy in high school, I had a couple friends, noone I keep in contact with anymore. But one of my fondest memories was taking the bus home with a group of girls and flirting with the guys from Xaverian.

I have so many great memories of my senior year with DH. I would probably pick the time he took me to the beach to tell me that he loved me.

The night I gotten stinking drunk, puked by the Hicksville train station & this friend of the guy I was dating gave me his jacket to put under my head while I layed on the concrete in the middle of the winter!

That's because not long after, I started to date that 'friend' & now 12 years later we are married!!!

I wasn't overly fond of high school...but I would love to relive the night I caught my first love hooking up with my best friend, just so that I could handle completly differently than I did.
and I also would like relive the first night me and my FI hung out--he was hanging out with my brother and I was with my friends and I just decided to jump out of my friends car and into his and we just drove around talking. We all ended up in the taco bell parking lot talking for HOURS-that was the first time that I actually saw him as more than my brothers friend (we didn't start dating until 7 months later )
