Has anyone ever seen the movie _In the Mood for Love_, directed by Wong Kar-Wai? In that movie, the lead actress, Maggie Cheung, wears a different early '60s style cheongsam dress in every scene. (Those close-fitting dresses, usually made of embroidered silk, with mandarin collars, frog closure buttons, and side slits.) I want them all!

Grrr...I have three! I'll list them all.

1) The yellow dress Kate Hudson wears in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

2) The black dress Renee Zelwegger wears in Jerry Maguire (on the date)

3) Not from a movie but tv...the strapless yellow dress that Rachel wears when she goes out on a date with the guy she blows off to comfort Ross (soon after the Emily wedding disaster). Monica pulls her out into the hall to yell at her and Rachel throws some of Monica's laundry on the floor so she can rush back into the apt to Ross. I LOVE that dress!!!

Those are good ones!! If only I had their bodies

I love everything Rachel wears on Friends ( in the later years).

I love the red dress Reese Witherspoon wears in Legally Blonde when she goes to dinner with Warner and he breaks up with her.

I don't know what I'd pick! I love really grand gowns...so maybe something from Gone with the Wind.

i like 'old time' dresses too... like the dress Keira Knightly wore in 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.
theres another dress that i can't think of... it was black with lace, but i can't remember who wore it and what movie.... i think it was either audrey hepburn or Grace Kelly or someone like that.

I don't think I'd ever wear them, but any of the outfits that Connie Nielson wears in 'Gladiator'. Her costumes were gorgeous!

Ahhh the classic Valentino...fantastic choice.

I would have to say the white ball gowm (with the black velvert burnout pattern) worn in Sabrina by Audrey Hepburn

....taking a close second the outfit worn in 'My Fair Lady' during the races at Ascot...also worn by Audrey Hepburn
