QOTD: If you had to name the 1 thing that repeatedly makes you angriest, what would it be?
Easy! My neighbor smoking cigars outside...2-3x each day, every day for about 2 hours at a time. I say this only b/c the smoke blows into my windows!!!! I hate the smell and don't like how it can cause cancer (esp. b/c my father died of lung cancer). I get to angry to go talk to him and DH is too shy.

Hmmm.... I would have to say when a man I don't know instantly assumes that I am an idiot because I am a woman. A group of guys on the train this a.m. did just that. Makes me insane.

ewww. our neighbor does the same thing. stands on his porch to have a smoke, meanwhile our living room windows are right above his patio... so we get all his smoke! Luckily they're moving, hope we get some non smokers.

Neighbors! I live in Queens and the houses are soooo close together ...
On one side I have the Pot-smoking middle aged pipsqueak with the old mustang. The smell that comes into my house from the pot and the exhaust, I was to kill him. In addition he uses that clunker to save himself a spot in front of the house!
On the otherside I have the pathetic 60-something year old toupee wearing idiot who lives with his mother and is going deaf. His bedroom is next to mine and I can tell you what station and what program he is watching at 4 a.m.
Those two make me insane ... I keep telling myself, 5 more months, 5 more months ... until I FINALLY move out!

Aimless Traffic for no reason! Drives me crazy !!!! I have the patience of a gnat. I told DH if we are ever on the newleyweds show and asked what is your wife's biggest pet peeve, it would be aimless traffic!!!!! At times, I have thought about abandoning my car during traffic and walking home or to work!

Yes!!! and Rubberneckers!!!! there is a person changing a tire, or getting a ticket, and you HAVE TO slow down to see it????? DRIVES ME NUTS!!!!!

Lately, my neighbors are driving me to the brink. They're precisely the kind of people I can't stand -- they 'take up too much space' in the world, by which I mean that they think everything revolves around them and everyone else can go to hell. They have like eight kids (every time I see these people, there's another kid) who are constantly leaving stuff all over the sidewalks for people to trip over. They also have a whole lot of cars and take everyone else's assigned parking spaces. They're constantly smoking outside and leaving their cigarette butts on other people's front steps. Worst of all, they have a giant hellhound and they let it run around without a leash. And I can't even call the landlord, because they're buddies with the landlord. Argh.
Normally, my major pet peeve is tailgaters, but these neighbors are on my last nerve these days!
Hey, thanks for the question... I was glad to have the opportunity to vent!

Ditto.....or even worse when people (men or women) think they don't have to answer you when you ask a question...that steams me. I hung a guy out the window once because he refused to answer me in the middle of a heated arguement.......he just giggled & pretended I wasn't there.

I get angry when people don't think their actions consequences on others.. for example.. people who take up three seats on the train.. make a U-turn on a busy street.. won't move when you need to get by (even after yo have said excuse me 5X already.)
those are the ones really get under my skin. i usually make a comment or give them a physical gesture.. and after that, then they have that stupid, 'What?' look on their face.

Yes, that one burns me too.... If there is not a lot of traffic around, I usually slam on my brakes to give them a wake up call. Hello, the other lane(s) are open.

Another thing that drives me crazy is the Fox News Channel. I can't even watch a second of it. All of the pundit guys are so mean -- they're like a bunch of thugs. Sometimes DH puts it on for a joke...

Fox makes me gag.. they are so biased. There's a documentary abou tthem called, 'Outfoxed.' I can be a news junkie.. I find myself watching a lot of MSNBC.
