Who has been helping you the most with your wedding planning? Have you made a lot of decisions on your own or asked for a lot of advice?
I talk my fiancé’s ear off about everything of course. Most of the decisions we’ve made have been between the two of us, but we’ve asked our parents and bridal party for second opinions on a few big decisions.
I am a pretty independent person, which is good since 4 out of 6 of my bridesmaid’s live out of town, but it’s still nice to have some reassurance. My MOH is a wedding photographer and both of her siblings were recently married so she has a lot of good suggestions and advice. Our DOC has also been amazing - I can e-mail her questions any time.

FH and I have made all the major decisions together but we definitely go to my parents for opinions on just about everything. It seems as soon as we leave appts, we head right to their house to share the information. I know my MOH wants to be involved more and has offered to go to appts with me but I feel like vendor appts and big decisions should be for FH and I. I'll involve her more when it's time to assemble invites, favors, etc. and do DIY projects.

I talk mostly to FH about everything and we make all the decisions together. I also talk to my mom about things just to keep her involved. We both have two different tastes but its nice to have her there.

I've mostly just talked to FH and you ladies! And my MOH once in a while but she lives in Florida so it's hard. My mom I tell her things when we've already made up our minds because she has an opinion about everything and thinks hers is the final word lol

Definitely FH. Right from the start I let him know that I wanted both of us to choose things and I didn't want to be left to make all the decisions alone. But once we decide on something we talk to my mom and sister (MOH) just to get 3rd and 4th opinions.

FH and I have pretty much made all the decisions on our own. We have found there are just toooo many contrasting opinions and we need to just pick what we like best and stick to it!

FH was very involved in all of the big decisions, but I have been doing everything else pretty much by myself. I ask my mother for some things but her and I have very differing views and tastes.

My FH's been to 100s of weddings because his father used to be a wedding videographer so he knew a lot. I on the other have only been to 5 weddings my whole life so I felt like I really didn't know anything.

Just the other day our Best Man asked if he was doing a good job because he feels like he hasn't helped us at all yet LOL I agree with what you said about your MOH. Once all of the major plans are in place then we will ask for help with DIY projects, picking music & food, etc.

My FH and I make all the major decisions, but for opinions I go to 3 of my best friends and they help me out a ton!

Most of the decisions have been between FH and I. We wouldn't book our venue without my parents seeing it, and I ask for some advice from my mom here and there but my parents made it clear they are contributing to the wedding but don't want to be involved in the planning , frustrating for me because I feel they should have a say, especially in the real important stuff, but seems to be most brides dream situation lol

LOL! That is hysterical! I went to lunch with my MOH the other day and she's like 'Let's talk wedding' and I didn't have much to talk about. I felt bad hahaha She's actually a bridesmaid in her best friend from childhood's wedding 3 weeks before mine so those last few months/weeks she is going to be really busy. She should enjoy the rest now while she can!

I talk with FH a lot but I feel like sometimes he gets sick of it and doesn't have much of an opinion. Luckily my cousin and my roommate from college are planning weddings so I get to talk to them almost every day about wedding stuff. And all of you ladies, of course!!!

Most of the decisions have been FH and I. i have asked my mom to come to some appointments that FH cant make it too. (he is in Law school so hes schedule is pretty nuts) but all the final decisions have been made by us two.

Definitely have been talking my FH's ear off as well as you ladies. You all have been amazing and I thank you ladies so very much! I have two bridesmaids, Matron and Maid of honor and they have been amazing and so supoortive. FH has a very hectic schedule and I don't want it to be wedding, wedding, wedding everytime we spend time together But he has been amazing too.
