I haven't seen anything thing that I thought I should have or that I thought was really unique, but we are doing something a little different at the wedding.
Since I am getting married in September, and all of my close family and friends have birthdays in Septembers Chris and I have decided to have a birthday cake and invite all of the september birthday people to come up to the front and we will sing happy birthday to them.

Thanks, we thought so. I mean literally there at like 15 people. So we thought it would be a nice touch since we are missing so many of them while we are on our Honeymoon.

a friend of the family got married for the second time, at which point both bride and groom had children. at the CH (to which kids were invited) they had a hot dog stand and a snow cone machine for the rugrats. it made their wedding on the beach feel even more fun.

My RH has a truffle bar add-on. The way my BM explained it when we first looked there is that there are chocolate and white chocolate truffles on lollipop sticks and then a variety of toppings to dip them in. I thought I always wanted a chocolate fountain until I heard about the truffle bar! Now if I could just save the money to pay for it....

I've never seen this at anyone's wedding this but I was thinking of having a shot luge. Not one that you drink straight out of but one where the bartender pours drinks out of.

I don't know if this qualifies as unique, but it was definitely memorable for me...
My friend's father is confined to a wheelchair. I thought it was beautiful enough that he still 'walked' her down the aisle, but that was nothing compared to the father/daughter dance. He wheeled himself out to the middle of the dancefloor and she climbed on top of his lap and he started spinning back and forth and doing circles during their dance.

FH and I are lucky to have 3 grandmothers alive and well and coming to our wedding!!!!!! However, we have 1 grandmother, 4 grandfathers, and a great frandmother who are no longer with us but who we were REALLY CLOSE WITH!!! We are going to do a TRIBUTE photo montage at dinner for our grandparents ... all of them.. those that are here and those that are watching over us

Having a weekend wedding. I went to one and it was real nice, the reception was ok but, that night they had a BBQ party afterwards and the next morning a brunch. It was in Penn. and the place was beautiful.
