OMG - I am so excited to be BOTW! I have been on this site for about a year and a half and the 411 I have gotten has been INVALUABLE!! I hope I can come up with some great Qs for you all Here goes...
Is there anything about your RH that you absolutely hated but had to suck it up and deal with?!

I will admit the ONE thing about our hall I don’t LOVE is the curb appeal LOL. Many of the RH’s we looked at you def pulled up and gasped a little because they were so gorg! We are totally excited about our hall and I LOVE the interior space and water views, but if we could make 1 change I think it would be to update the front entrance a smidge!

I reallyyyyy hate my RH's chairs! they are HORRIBLE! but I ****** it up because I know I can just cover them, it'll just be an extra expense.

hmmm seriously there is nothing I dont love about my RH if I COULD alter one thing a bit it would probably be put on an acre of land or soemthing.. it is right on Jericho turnpike...I would do it only for my pics since guests will be inside anyway and the inside is GORGEOUS!

I do not like the carpet but one thing I have noticed is that all RH have bad carpet!
I figure if people are noticing the carpet I did something wrong!

I agree every RH I looked at had ugly carpet! KristynLiegh went to a RH where the carpet was ripped!

Congrats on BOTW!
If I had to change anything about my RH, it would have to be the indoor cocktail hour - I wish it was in one large room... It's more like 3 rooms connected to eachother.

I hated the carpeting at my rh bc I really wanted a rh with no carpet! But I love it there and will deal with it lol.

The one thing is that there isn't a lot of grounds for picture taking outside so we are going to the Vanderbilt before to take pics but thats about it

One thing that I settled on my RH is the fact they don't have an outside garden/cocktail hour area. They do have an outside area to take pictures and the CH room i'll be in does have a glass ceiling on 1/2 of the room which makes it look very tuscany and gardeny. So I think I was sold with that. But there is no outside grounds to take nice pictures.

The only thing I can think of now is the color of the linens they have a bunch to choose from, just not the color I wanted.....

Well the only thing I don't love about the Sand Castle is the location. It is across the street from a Pathmark and doesn't have a lot of grounds. However, I figure the 15 minutes the guests will be on the outside of the hall is nothing in comparison to the 7 hours they will be inside!
(PS - no ugly carpets! )
ETA: Oh yeah, and the veranda where the ceremony will most likely be unless I luck out and get a beautiful day isn't my dream ceremony space either. I'm hoping I could do it in the garden area. ::fingers crossed::

The only thing I dislike is that it's so far away. I would have liked a RH closer to home. Ours is about 40-45 min away from us & most of our guests :(

I would say that they do multiple weddings a day.
Also, wish it was closer as we live in Brooklyn and its about 40-50 min. away.

I would have to agree with Jillian about our RH. I would give it a bit more land! other than that, everything is FANTASTIC, even the carpeting!

Well, I can't say that i completely hated it because I do love how high it is, and that was a biggie for my on my checklist for a RH, high ceilings. It just isn't the best looking one. My dad actually said, 'it looks like the ceiling of a Catholic school gymnasium!'
But, we are getting some nice draping to put up, and like Mara, said if they are paying too much attention to the ceiling I did something wrong with the decor!!
Other than that, I love my RH.
