QOTD Monday 5/17 ****

First I want to thank Angela for passing me her tiara! I hope I can fulfill my bridely duties as well as all of the brides that have gone before me!

Here goes... My first QOTD...

When was your 'ah ha' moment, the moment that you realized that you truly wanted to spend the rest of your life with FH?

pretty much after the first date. He was so funny, and we clicked so well. I've never had that feeling ever when first meeting someone. It's so hard to describe, but it happened

this might sound silly but as usual, I fell asleep on the train from a night of drinking after work and ended up in Babylon when I live in Valley Stream and FH lives in Manhasset. I called FH to let him know of the situation and he told me to stay put past 1 AM and said that he would pick me up - i knew from there that he was the one - wake up in the middle of the morning to drive my drunk a s s home

there was no one 'a ha!' moment but after the first few dates and the first month of dating i knew he was the one because we had so much fun together and we had so much in common. there is no one line him in the world who could be more perfect for me!

this is dumb, but i was drunk. hopelessly drunk with my girl friends and had no idea how i was going to get home. i was decked out in a cute outfit and heels in this bar and all of a sudden he shows up out of nowhere in sneakers and shorts and a t-shirt to bring me home. (i guess a friend texted him!) he was holding my hand and leading me out of the place and i realized that this was the greatest man to walk the earth and i wanted him forever. there are several more 'romantic' and obvious events, but this hit me to the core. i am never alone as long as he's in my heart.

The second we first met - i looked like a train had hit me because i was running late (no makeup, in sweats, hair looked like who-did-it-and-ran), he sat down next to me for a meeting and I DID NOT want to say hi to him... like at all, because of how I looked, and then a little voice said to me 'just say hi' so I did and we shook hands, I was ice cold and his was so hot that I just blurted out 'oh my gosh you're so hot!'

Right before that however something clicked and I knew he was my perfect counterpart... sappy huh?

One of moments that stick out is the time I got in an accident in FH's bmw. He only lets ME drive his car to begin with.

This was pretty early into our relationship and I thought he was going to kill me. When I called him, he was sooo calm and worried about me and not the car (which he LOOOVES and is anal about!).

It just blew my mind and I knew he was husband material. I can be really stressed and high strung and he always mellows me out.

lol! I got into an accident in my FH's brand new Jetta years ago. I also thought he'd freak but didn't. Hmm..maybe if it was the BMW he would have! lol

I don't think it was ever one moment, I kinda knew from the beginning, even before we started officially dating. I know that's corny but it's true!

One night when we clubing with a group our friends. After arriving back to his house, his and my friends stayed at his house while we went for a walk around his block. It was like 3-4 in the morning and it was so peaceful. We just talked and walked and I think that was when I realized that he was the 'One.'

It was a couple of weeks into us being official and we headed to MA to visit my MOH for Halloween weekend. She lived right outside Salem - so we were all going to get dressed up and hit the bars.

He never met any of my friends from college (there were 3 of them) and he just jumped right in with them. Drinking - hanging out - played hour long games of scrabble. I gave him a lot of credit for just getting in there, staying in their home and becoming one of us. i knew then he was someone pretty special.

The first time he told me he loved me. I had gotten him an appointment with my dentist because he was in a huge amount of pain. He went to the dentisit and felt a million times better. So he told me he loved me after that, but that night we were going to visit his parents in Pennsylvania and my car broke down on the side of the mountain. That God he was with me or I would have really freaked out. He calmed me down and told me he loved me. So that was pretty much the day I knew
