Again I would like to thank Soon2BMrsB2013 for making me the bride of the week. Hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday!!!!
Today's question of the day is: Did you always want to have a big wedding or was there a time when you wanted something really small and intimate with only those who are really close to you?
I always wanted a big wedding with all the works. I wanted to have my all my family and friends there to witness our love. I have a big family and so does he. And I would want them all to celebrate with us.
My friend is having her second wedding this weekend and it is going to be a small intimate ceremony in a park. Although we are close I am not even invited; she wanted to keep it really small. She will probably not even have 10 people at the wedding ceremony.

I guess I always wanted a big wedding. FH and I have very large families and a lot of friends, so there really wasn't an option for a small wedding for us anyway.

I have never wanted and still do not want a big wedding Our guest list is bigger than I want, but it's so hard to cut people!

I never wanted a big wedding but FH wanted a big one because he needs to invite everyone he knows . I would have loved just a small 20 person wedding with only immediate family that would have been ideal for me.

I never even thought I would get married but I always said if I did I wanted to walk down the aisle in my white dress and have a njce celebration with fam n friends. I didnt think we'd be going as big as we are and def not spending as much $$ as we are but its a once in a life time event and Im happy with how its all going so far.

I always wanted the big wedding. FH and I have pretty small families so its actually a little harder to get that big wedding feel . We have a lot of friends so hopefully we wont have an issue

My FH is opposite from yours. He didn't want a big wedding and he does not want to invite everyone he knows. I have to force him to invite some of his friends.

I have a big family so I always figured I'd have a big wedding. There have been many time during planning where I was ready to give up and drive over to the courthouse, but in reality there are a lot of people who have played big parts in our lives and relationship. They deserve to be there for this occasion and definitely deserve to celebrate with us!

I always said I wanted to go to Vegas and get married by Elvis. I've said this so often that my family was suprised I was having a traditional wedding. It wasn't until I had my son that I realized I actually wanted the white dress. I can't wait to see him walk down the aisle as our ring bearer.

I don't think that our wedding is really going to be a big affair to start off, though I guess if I imagine a 100 people in one place it's not exactly tiny either.
But yes, I've totally imagined running away with FH and eloping. It would be so much simpler in some ways!
ETA: FH wanted a really small wedding. And was astonished when his side alone had 50 something people to add to the party. His response? 'What, 50 people just from my family? That means more from your family too? I didn't want 30 people at all in total!!' Cue:

Really never thought I was going to have a wedding. But now that I can. I guess I always thought i would have some kind of a big Italian wedding. I really wanted a tacky one at Grand Prospect Hall. but opted for a nice one people will talk about for years to come ( for the good, not the bad)
