Are you doing anything special during your ceremony or reception? (For example, coreographed dance, writing your own vows)
Because Pastor April wrote our ceremony for us, I think the whole ceremony is special because it is a veyr personal ceremony. We are also lighting a family candle with FH's son.

To answer the question I dont think we are doing anything out of the norm we are very traditional Plus we could never write our own vows its gonna be hard enough getting through the regular ones without the 2 of us balling

I am switching up the ceremony in that my mom is walking me down the aisle and my dad is lighting the unity candle.

We are doing a memorial table, with a collage of pics of poeple we wish could be there and the table will be set up like they were there only with a wreath of candles. We also are going to have a little tribute on the plasma screen TVs.
The other thing that I was really excited about was we could afford the GOBO ball - the ball that will have our names in script on the dancefoor in lights - so the guy threw it in for free!!!

i don't think so. i really want a traditional wedding. the only thing we are doing is making sure that our wedding song is played FULLY and we are the only ones that are going to dance. keeps the moment special for us and for everyone watching to just enjoy the moment for us and with us.

I don't think anything will be out of the ordinary. I want to do a funny dance, but FH won't hear of it. He really is an intolerably miserable **** sometimes! Maybe I'll get my way...but most likely it will be me and my father doing a funny dance.

We are writing our own vows.... I am so excited about this! We aren't letting eachother see what we wrote either... I know his will be a real tear jerker! LOL. We will also be lighting a Memory Candle togheter after the Unity Candle for my Father...

We're doing a hand fasting ceremony and having our parents light the candles for us to light our unity candles.

We're going to light a candle during the ceremony for FH's dad and my grandparents and godmother that passed, I'm doing 2 dances with my dad, and we're going to include our relatives in the program in a rememberance

we ar having my daughter have her own candle for the unity candle also i think we are going to get her a family medalion and do that as part of the ceremony.
the way we see it is she is as much a part of this wedding as we are so we want to include her in a bunch of things

Hopefully FH's father will sing our first dance song to us. Also we're writing our own vows. We know we're not doing a Unity candle or sand ceremony, so we really don't know exactly what we're gonna do during the ceremony other than our vows!!
