I have a few things. I wasn't going to do menus and programs but now I am going to do them. Until I joined LIW I had never heard of Channa plaque-so glad that I do now because I love mine! Also I had never heard of or seen a cardbox until I got onto this website and now FSIL is going to buy me mine as a shower gift! So excited!

Video. I took some video at FBIL/FSIL's wedding and I've been editing it to make them a wedding video. As I'm editing, I started to think how much I really do want to have something for our wedding. I still don't think that it's something we are always going to watch but at least I know I have that memory on video somewhere. So, we found someone willing to shoot the video for us and give us the RAW footage and I am going to edit it. I'm really excited to do it because A) I love editing video and 2) it's our wedding I'm editing!

Definitely all the vendors. If it weren't for this site I would have nothing booked LOL

Originally we were going to have a 40 person brunch wedding....now our guest list is 160 and it is all afternoon!
I found almost all of my vendors through here- I seriously don't know what I would have done! Also learned about how much I can bargain with the vendors!

I didn't think I'd want a cardbox, and of course now I ordered one from FTMB!
Without LIW I wouldn't have any of my vendors!!!

Always said i wasnt a 'wedding' person, never wanted to deal with all the drama and expenses, but the minute FH put the ring on my finger, i became that excited bride to be!
without LIW i would have never ordered 1. a card box 2. c-hanna plaque 3. b=pics!

LIW has opened my eyes to so many things I hadn't even though of. I will be getting a Channa plaque b/c they look great. Also I never even thought about color over lays or even new table cloths to make a room feel exactly how I want it until someone posted it here!

Yes several things.
1. Bridal party - I was only planning on on a MH and BM, but then asked two of my friends to be in the wedding. So we have 1 mh, i bm, 2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsman.
2. Video- I was trying to save $$$, but decided with the money I am already spending, what is another 1,500.00.
I never knew what a channa plaque was until this site, and I too will have one.

1. DOC - I didn't even consider this beforehand.
2. Channa Plaque - Didn't know this existed but LOVE mine.
3. Cry packs - had never heard of this before.
4. Wedding Tree - alternative guestbook.

For whatever reason I was sure I didn't want a videographer and that I wasn't diy'ing anything for the wedding, now my video guy is booked and I've been messing around with diy projects for a few weeks.

definitely a channa plaque, i literally had to google what it was and now I cant wait to order one. I'm even thinking about getting my parents one for their 25th anniversary next year.

I wasn't going to get a hotel block for my OOT guests... I'm hoping to get video, but, I don't think we can find someone affordable.. It is not in our budget.

We added a jazz trio to our cocktail hour. Originally I wanted to spend as little money as possible on the DJ, but we decided it would be a nice extra touch worth the splurge.
Are there things that you didn't know existed until you joined LIW that you are adding now?
I may get the 'I DO' stickers for my shoes and I will probably get a channa plaque for the cake table. Also, if it weren't for LIW, I wouldn't be getting my fabulous invitations from 'her!'

We didn't want video at the start because we were both like 'we won't watch it, and its a waste of money' but from going to other weddings and brides not having the video and saying after they regret not having those awesome memories on video, we decided we had to!

Tons and Tons of different vendors! I really want to have a photobooth as a surprise to my FH bc he loves the idea (we went to one other wedding that had it as their guestbook - it was so cute!) So I'm trying to see if I can get good prices for that =)

I added so much to my wedding lol I originally wanted a small wedding on the beach with just close friends and family. Yea, well, that didn't happen!!! I added....
- Getting married in a church - Big reception hall with a guarantee of 175 guests!!!!!!! - HUGE bridal party (11 people on each side!) - Photo montage - Venetian hour (we're not 100% on this yet)
I've gotten soooo much from LIW!!!! With out this site I wouldn't have...

I don't think there is anything that I said 'no' to and now have b/c most of the stuff we have I would have NEVER thought about until this site lol (my wallet thanks you). Channa - who knew? Somethings I added:
Veil - I was NOT going to do one until I was trying on gowns and realized that the veil is what really makes you feel like a bride.
~maybe~ bpics - I've seen some girl's on here and they look so amazing and sexy, I just feel like it would be a great way to celebrate myself and a nice gift for FH.
We decided to do pictures BEFORE the ceremony after realizing how little time we would have if we did them during CH, and decided it's best to be done before.

- Engagement pictures (photographer sold us on these) - Veil (thought it'd be too pricey, but I got a great deal and seeing myself in one had me sold immidiately) - I'm still in the process of planning, so I'm sure I'll like a lot of other things :)
Are there things that you didn't know existed until you joined LIW that you are adding now? - All my vendors! I found every single one through here to date except for dress location + possibly DJ --- couldn't have done it without recommendations on here! - Now I want to know what bpics are and what a channa table thing is! Hah
