He's a teacher way out in Nassau county (right down the road from Leslie's new apt!), and he coaches a 4th, 5th, 6th grade softball team out there too.
He had a trophy picnic over the weekend, and I had 6, yes SIX, mothers come up to me and tell me that I have some major competition - the girls stink at softball, 'cause they're too busy drooling over my FH!
So my question is this:
Did you ever have an older teacher/coach/co-worker that you DROOLED over as a kid?

Hey Andrea!! Was it a teacher at LHS???? The teacher I had a crush on in highschool, i now babysit his kids and my FI is coaches with him, and we are good friends..so wierd..

No -- all of my teachers were women when I was little.
But as an elementary teacher, I am now the object of affection for a few little ones. One of my fifth graders asked me if I would ever date a student. Yikes!

Um yes. He was my math teacher. I had him in 9th, 11th and 12th grades. I actually went to summer school to take an advanced course so I could take calculus as a 12th grade student (I was in the regents track beforehand and took SMII over the summer as the only time I ever took it so I could take calc). I hated math, but I so loved looking at him.

same here - one of my students wears a suit every time he comes to my class. All the kids tease him about it but it doesn't faze him at all.
