Hi ladies..Just got home from the circus. It was really cute! I had a great time with my nieces and family.

What is the one item you would never consider doing DIY? and What is the one item you MUST do DIY?


For me...The one item I could never do DIY is my cake, dress and place cards!! Place cards have been such a hassle just decided to get them done.

DIY that is a must is my flip flop basket and wishing bowl. I just loved that I did them! =)

i could never DIY my invites. i envy you ladies and your patience. i started researching it but all the cutting and measuring of the numerous sheets of paper made my head spin. so no DIY invites or me, or favors i had originally thought i would try and make mini jelly dougnuts as favors in bags i planned on making myself (friggin martha makes it look so easy!!) than i came to my senses and realized i have a job and a life and im not martha stewart so all that would happen would be a sugar and flour explosion all over my kitchen.

a must DIY was my placecards and some really cute signs i made one is a 'thank you' sign for the cake table, one for the placecard table and also signs explaining the signature cocktail for the bars.

I would never DIY my centerpieces/flower or dress.

I would DIY my place cards, programs, OOT baskets, guestbook.

I could never DIY 99% of my stuff - DOJ, Dress, Shoes, Make-up, Hair, Invites, Gifts, Centerpieces, Bouquets.

The only things I am DIYing are my table numbers and my programs. I think I could have done my menus too but I won free ones so no need to worry there

I wouldn't consider DIY'ing pretty much anything! hah... I'm never satisfied with things I do, I always feel like I can make it better.

I am DIY'ing my invites, because i'm a graphic designer and I've designed this stuff for others, but i must say it's really stressful doing it for yourself.
