Hey ladiess!!!!!!

I am SOOO sorry I havent posted todays QOTD yet-- tomorrow is my sisters bridal shower and I am the MOH and have been running around like CRAZY!!

I am going to post 2 questions ..one to make up for todays and then one ahead of time for tomorrow (I am not sure what time I will be able to post it tomorrow and do not want to keep you girls waiting again!! ) I will definitely be on tomorrow night to pick the next BOTW though

Who is in charge of the money/bank accounts/bills etc in your relationship? And does the other have regular availability to that?

We are definitely both involved in the bills, bank accounts money etc and both have access to everything.. BUT FH is a lot more laid back when it comes spending and I am the crazy saver!!!

Do you have your wedding dress yet? If yes are you nervous you might change your mind if you still have a lot of time left until your wedding day?

I just said YES to the dress last Friday!!!! It was such an experience!! It of course was fun for me but was so difficult to choose THE one dress for your wedding day! I loveeee my dress now and am going to stop looking at wedding dresses to ensure I never change my mind. LOL

Yay questions hehe I hope your sister had a great party, I'm sure you did a wonderful job with it!

Right now our finances are seperate, when we move in together, we'll start a joint savings account of some sort.

I picked my dress a couple of months ago. I LOVE it but it was over my budget. But I couldn't imagine myself in any other dress.

Our accounts are separate at the moment. Once we get married we will have a joint savings, but I think we will have separate checking accounts.

I said yes to the dress, and I am VERY nervous that I will change my mind. I don't know what's wrong with me!

Have fun at your sister's shower!!! Is it a surprise?

Regarding money, we make decisions together, but i take care of all the bills and decide how we each allocate our paychecks. Of course we sit down and discuss it all, but i'm definitely the money person! He has access to everything but we never make big purchases without consulting the other...EVER

I don't have my dress yet. Probably going shopping in July or so. umm exciting but also dreading it. My mom and i will be fight like cats and dogs, i'm sure of it

I am in charge of the money & I take care of all the bills. He makes the deposits to the RH and to the bank. He has a debit card which he leaves home so he does have access but could care less! haha

I handle all the bills and money. I feel like an accountant! I tell FH how much he owes me for his portion of the month and then he adds it my my account. Not sure if we will do a joint account. Opening accounts at banks are just getting pricey with too many rules.

I have not started dress shopping yet. I really want to lose more weight but I should just go already and just keep losing until next year.

Since FH and I live separately, he in a house, and I have my condo, we pay our own bills. We do have a credit card that we put some furniture on and that bill gets shared by the both of us. Once we combine households (hopefully soon!), I'm not sure who will run the bills but i'm confident in either one of us taking that job

Right now, I do not have my wedding dress but have been looking online nonstop for ideas! I've been told to STOP looking online and get down to stores to start looking in order to avoid falling in love with dresses I might possibly not be able to find in person. It's a little on the early side for me but i definitely intend to start looking in the summer! Speaking of that....gotta run and get my a#$ to the gym!

Jillian, hope your sister has a FANTASTIC shower! Can't wait to see pics

1. We don't live together yet so we each run our own bills, etc. I def will do it when we live together though just b/c we've discussed it and FH would rather just hand me the $ and have me do it

We currently have a joint bank account and we each have a separate checkings, I'm sure FH will do all the bills once we get another place together, he's much better and organized at that stuff than I am.

I don't have it yet, I want to start looking so bad but that's the exact reason I haven't started yet, because i don't want to find it right away then fall in love with something else, i really want to take my time shopping and look at a few places and try on LOTS of dresses, I only get to do this once

Since FH and I had gotten engaged we had gotten a savings account for whatever wedding stuff we are going to pay for. We only split and share the rent. I pay my own bills and he pays his own and he pays for the cable and I pay for the food because they basically cost the same every month. After the wedding we will be using that savings account for save for our own home.

I bought my dress back in October last year one month I got engaged. I had gone to Davids Bridal and I have always loved their dresses so I knew I would find my dress. I love my dress so much it is simple and ivory and just 'me'. LOL It is at my grandma's house but thank goodness she is going to visit my aunt over the summer and since I go to her house and take care of her cats and what not I will be trying it on every day because that is how crazy i am about my dress.

#1: We both have separte bank accounts and we handle our own bills for right now. Once we live together we plan on getting a joint account and both being able to pay bills.

#2: I bought my dress back in November and I love it!!! I haven't looked at another wedding dress since I got mine. I can't wait for it to come in so I can try it on again!!!

Have fun today at the shower!!!!!

FH is definitely the money conscious one. He is very organized with money and he has his system. I'd rather not bother with it at all, so it works out.

And yes! I found my dress! It was like the 10th one I tried on. And from then on, NOTHING compared.

I am in charge of paying the bills. Before we got engaged I use to figure out my portion and his portion and he would write a check to me. Now that we are engaged we have a joint account and HD puts extra money into that account and I can take it to pay the bills. I have not been taking the money out and have been leaving it there and just paying all the bills. Now that we are getting the house we will do the same thing but we are actually changing all of our accounts to joint.

I got my dress and I love it. I have no concern that I will question it. I just think yo myself...I picked it for a reason!
