Not sure if this is one of the regular answers but my dog, Murphy. And another thing that is kind of different that just makes me happy are sunsets.

knowing that there ARE people in this world that can and do selfless things like helping others regardless if they need the help.....
and knowing that MY life means something to someone else out there....maybe I know them and maybe I don't

-Laying on the beach on a hot sunny day with a great book -Finding something I love on sale -Wearing cute shoes that doent hurt my feet -Trivia nights -Cooking something that turns out really good -Looking at pictures I just got developed, especially if they are old -Having my boss say 'Wow, youre really on top of things' -Getting a big hug from a little kid -Driving when a great song comes on the radio that I love to sing along to

1. Drawing and painting 2. Snowboaring 3. Rollerblading 4. Dancing 4. accomplishing something I put my mind to that I know is difficult.

I love walking down to the beach here. So peaceful. I really like sitting in a silent room and thinking. Thinking is one of my favorite things to do. I can sit for hours at a time and just think, but in a good way, not a brooding way. I love going to work. I am a chorus teacher and hearing the really young kids together as a chorus melts my heart. They are just so energetic and happy and innocent. Listening to classical music overwhelms me with happiness, as does playing my flute. Reading a good book. Seeing the deer in my backyard early in the morning.

My CCD students. The love me and they care about me and miss me when classes are out. So, they make me happy. Aside from the obvious.

My dog '80s music Hummingbirds (they're hard to see, but when you do, it's a real treat -- they're like little flying jewels!) Wine (doesn't count as 'food,' right?) When the Yankees win A good book or movie When one of my students really makes progress and feels better about him/herself Afternoon naps Kids in the Hall (see avatar!) New shoes The smell of lilacs or hyacinths Fashion magazines That day when the weather turns cooler for good and you can tell it's fall

Our kitty, Mia
spending time outdoors... be it a beach, the country, the mountains, or a park..
spending time with DH's nephews and niece... they bring out the kid in me
going to a baseball game (preferably the Yankees, but any ballpark experience is cool)
further to that, going and watching a little league game ...
doing something for a loved one that brings genuine joy into their lives.. esp. when I least expect it will make such an impact
waking up feeling great, both mentally and physically
a TRULY good night's sleep
watching a REALLY good movie .. either LOL funny , action packed excitement, or heartbreakingly dramatic..
hearing a REALLY good song that will conjure up good memories or make me wanna get up and dance

getting a really good deal/bargain on something going on vacation apple picking with FH- it's a tradition being in front of a fireplace playing board games-especially 80's themed ones lol!

the scale saying I weigh less than I thought
right after you get a new haircut and blowout and look fabulous
getting flowers on a non-occasion when you don't expect them
having the subway pull in just as you arrive at the station, or having the plane take off exactly on time for once
when the roulette wheel lands on my number
having someone praise my cooking
no line at Starbucks
hitting no traffic on Long Island (or at least I think this will make me happy if it ever happens one day)
