So I am going to continue the getting to know each other line of questions:
What was your first date with your FH? If you can change any one thing what would that be?

Our first date was just a walk around the neighborhood.. we just kind of hung out, then went to a friend's house and cuddled and talked for a little bit. Then.. he asked me to be his girlfriend.
I wouldn't change it at all.
How about you? Love the avatar!

My first date was on May 22, 2009. FH picked me up at my apartment complex and he had made reservations at the 56th street fighters club in Farmingdale. It was Memorial Day weekend so the Blue Angel's airplanes were at Republic Airport which is right next door. We have a great dinner..... good food, good conversation and good wine.
After dinner we were not ready to leave each other so we went to Chillis to watch the Mets game. After the game was over we still did not want it to end so we went to Coldstone Creamery. FH brought me home and we had our first kiss! It was a great first kiss.
Honestly it was the best first date I ever had and I would not change a thing. I had the Mets, Alcohol and an amazing guy.
I knew that it was my last first date.

We went bowling at Whitestone Lanes on our first date (which was a lot of fun). After bowling we went for Ice Cream at Eddie's Ice Cream Parlor on Metropolitan Avenue. I wouldn't change a thing about that night.

He took me to pizza at the pizzera near my job. That was because I was working that night but the first date when he asked me out outside of work was a few days after my birthday we went to the movies and then he took me to his house where I saw some photos from his travels and around 1am he took me home and kissed on my front steps of my home. I would not change a thing

Our first day was in Feb 2006. FH took me to Friendly's then back to his house to watch a movie. He was so nervous and it was really cute. I was the first girl he ever took out on a date and he really wanted to make it as special as he could. I don't think I would change anything about our date. His nervousness and cuteness that night made me fall in love with him.

Our first date was in the fall of 2000 when we were 14 :) We went to dinner and a movie and had a super sweet kiss at the end that still makes me smile when I think of it! I wouldn't change a thing <3

We had an awkward and wonderful first date... We met for the first time for coffee, it went well he asked me out to dinner and then I asked him out for a drink. I go into detail on another post but it ended up being about a 10 hour long first date of just talking. In fact, we didn't even kiss until about our 3rd date and when we did it was TERRIBLE! And we both admit it... I didn't know it was coming and i was like omg I can't date this guy hahaha, luckily that all worked out.
As far as what I would change.. I wouldn't change anythign about us, but there are things I wish I could fix on myself that would have made us stronger. Being away this long and having a lack of communication has led to me being pretty emotional at times and its definately strained things, but like he says, its only a year out of many and we'll be fine :)

he called me to ask me out however informed me his license was suspended and I would have to drive. I appreciated his honesty and we have been together for almost 8 years.

Re: QOTD: Sunday 1/9/2011
this is a weird question because when we met we both had someone else and we didnt have intentions of going out with eachother LOL....we were friends first. which eventually envolved into a relationship...so we hung out alot and then had dates....I remember significantly going to a restaraunt in Queens called Pio Pio. It is a Peruvian restaraunt with great Sangria!!!
I just remember going out to dinner and then dancing until 4-5am...Just being with him and being in great company can make anything fun!!
