Did FH ask your parents for your hand in marriage? How many people knew about the proposal before you?
My FH asked my Dad one day as they were moving furniture for my hand. I think he said my Dad nodded his head, said of course and welcomed him to our family!
Apparently everyone but me knew about the proposal. Only my best friend and her husband knew the actual day it was happening, but he had told his family/friends and my family that he was doing it.

My FH didn't technically ask my dad for my hand in marriage until after he popped the question. LOL I think he was scared and tried a few times but people were always around LOL He did call and say he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and asked for my dad's blessing
The only people that knew were his brother, father, and mom (she didn't know actual the day). Happiest day of my life!

FH didnt ask my dad...and pretty much EVERYONE knew except for me and my family lol...he said he was so excited he had to tell everyone

Apparently everyone knew except for me he had the ring for about a month before he proposed and I just asked him and he did ask my dad for his hand in marriage which I did not know until right now lol

FH asked my dad and mom. Most of the immediate family members knew about it but our friends and extended family were all surprised!

He took my dad, mom and sister out to dinner and asked them all for my hand. Everyone knew it was coming.

FH did not ask my mom for permission prior to proposing. He was afraid her and my sister would act weird or say something and I might catch on haha. FHs parents and cousin knew about the upcoming proposal!

Yes, my FH asked my parents before he proposed because he knew I am very traditional. His parents and siblings knew about it as well.

Yes FH asked my father for my hand in marriage. My dad said he was nervous and wouldn't tell me what he said saying it was between him and FH lol. So my parents and his were the only ones who knew. And no one but FH saw my ring before it landed on my finger, which I loved lol. He picked it all by himself. and he did an amazing job!

My fiance went to my parents house apparently when I was at work. I don't think he asked them if he could because he was scared my dad would say no because my dad doesn't really like him. My parents both gave him their blessing and than they raised hell after he asked and I said yes! But fh did that for me because I always said it meant a lot to me and that my dad is old school and would respect that. My sister knew and his whole family knew as well. We went out for my birthday the night before he proposed with friends and apparently everyone knew but me!

My Fh asked my parents when I went to a Met Game with one of my friends and he went to ask my Dad and Mom that night!!!! I had no idea he went to ask I knew he was going to but I had no idea than

If he asked my mom she would have said no! A few friends who helped him plan the proposal knew about it.
