Sorry this is late, ladies. Was at a wedding last night and FH and I are in the car driving back now.
So last night, FH proved once again how much he loves me. My question is, has there been an incident that has happened during your relationship that when you look back on it, you realize how much he was proving his love for you?
I'll let everyone know who the next botw is later tonight!!

Re: QOTD: Sunday, August 15th
This is an easy question for me to answer. FH has be unwaveringly loyal to me, and I have never had to question that. The biggest instance of him proving his love started this past October. My father was in a terrible motorcycle accident, and was in a coma. They did not expect him to live. I was shattered, didn't know how to handle it, and Fh was amazing. He's not good with hospitals, yet drove me to see my dad all the time, held his hand and my hand, as my family prayed my dad would recover. I was a wreck to say the least. My dad was in a coma for three months, and I honestly don't think I would have made it without FH. He was my rock, my support and my hope. Thank God, my dad is on the road to recovery, and will be able to walk me down the aisle when I marry the man who was there for me and my family during a time that was literally a living nightmare for us.

I am so sorry for what happened to ur dad, I am so glad he is doing better!!!!
For me it is also an easy one also, during our 3 year of dating the entire left side of my body turned numb and mine and FHs world was completely turned upside down. My doctor had given me a call telling me that I had white matter in my brain and it could really only mean one possible thing. So after FH taking me to spinal taps, mris, blood tests, response tests and many doctors visits it was determined I had MS. Fh told reverend deb when we met with her, that it was at this point where he believed that my family gave him many outs, as they probably thought he wouldn't be able to handle me going through this. Well FH proved everyone wrong as he was my personal cheerleader and nurse!!!! For my medication I inject myself 3 times a week, so If you can imagine it was really hard for me to do it at first. FH spent many nights wiping the tears from my eyes when I was attempting to do this and he formulated a system with me where we both counted to 10 together and then we could press the button on the injector together. Now I am a pro at this and every time I inject myself FH tells me how proud he is of me!!! I will never forget his strength for me through this difficult timein my life and I am eternally grateful that he is the man I am marrying!!!!

I'm so sorry about what happened to your Dad, and, ren, I'm glad they found what was wrong and that everything is under control!
Anytime I'm feeling down about something, or I am worried, my FH is always there to reassure me and make me feel better. He's always there when it matters most.

I have been going through a rough patch with my health lately. I have been suffering with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Fh is always there to comfort me and just be there for me. He talks ne through the attacks and just let's me know he's always there for me. I couldn't ask for a better fh and I can't wait to marry him

To Ash and Ren, I'm glad that FH was able to help you through those tough times. Love like that is few and far between.
For me, FH has always had my back and cares a lot for me. There are times he wishes he could show it more (with little gifts and stuff) but he does it without that. I seemed to have bouts where driving is my worst enemy (especially in bad weather) and he tries his best to keep me calm and smiling through it. It's genuine love and I'm glad I have him in my life.

Wow, this is such a great question! I have tears in my eyes from reading all your posts. My mom has always been very sick and Fh has always been there for me when I thought I would lose it. Two years ago he helped me get to Alaska on a moments notice when I found out my mom may not make it through the night. He really has been my rock. Now the one time I can honestly say was the biggest was about three months ago...
My friends mom, who has been my long island mommy for the past 12 years, was diagnosed with cancer. She was t our engagement party, up and around and fine. within 6 months she was gone. FH was the only person who understood just how much this effected me. He let me know i was allowed to mourn for myself as well as look out for my friend. It's been a tough road, but I have come out of it great and so has my firend! It really is inspiring! THANKS FH!!!

I really have the same answer for FH as for my BM's as well. When my sister passed away I was in FLA visiting because it was her sons (my nephews) 1st, and 2nd bday. It was completely unexpected so everyone was shocked when it happened. I remember calling my MOH and she said she would be on the first plane down to fla. I told her no bc it just meant the world to me. they all were amazing.
FH never dealt with death like that. He wasnt down in Fla with me bacause of work and I couldn't get in touch with him. I just remember him literally staying on the phone with me to fell asleep when I was still in Fla .. and setting his alarm for like 4am to make sure he was up before me since he knows I wake up so early. When I came home he had organized all pics of my sister and I and put them in the closet so when i did want to go through them they were already all together and I didn't have to go crazy. It was all little things. His brothers bday was the night of my sisters funeral. You all might think this is crazy. but after it I asked him to please go out. he refused.. I told him i needed him to. I needed to sit and be a lone with my cousins and just sit. He did for an hour. I later found out he left after an hour... and sat in the car out side my cousins house and texted my cousin that im outside if she needs me.
I love how he still shows it. 3 weeks ago when a 'tornado' was suppose to hit Wantagh he left work early because I was home alone and he didn't want me to be scared and wanted to make sure I was ok and I wasn't answering my phone. (i always answer my phone I am a bb addict). turns out I was at my cousins with my MOH having some wine

Wow those are amazing stories! Some scary but i love your FHs for it!
FH and I have been through a lot over the last 8 years. Medically im a mess and he's brought me to countless appts, xrays, mris etc. he picks up my meds, does my laundry and anything i need when im feeling like death.
He was by my side at the hospital for countless situations w my family. It has been a bad 3 years for my parents and even went himself more than once.
Right now im in bed and he's out picking up a script for me and dinner.
I really cant imagine my life without him.

My FH and I have a 1 year old together and when i got pregnant i was told that i had a tear in my uterus and could miscarry at any time...he was so comforting in this and did a lot of research to help us get threw this, i was hospitalized once for dehydration but nothing anymore serious then that.

Re: QOTD: Sunday, August 15th
When I competed in my first figure competition I was on a strict diet for 3 months and was training in the gym twice a day...I was so nasty to everyone including him because I was so starved and stressed. He encouraged me everyday to keep pushing towards my goal and never once got mad at me for how I would act sometimes.
I am so lucky to have such a supportive FH

Re: QOTD: Sunday, August 15th
he used to drive about 20 hours in one weekend, to pick me up and take me home. And he basically ditched his whole family on the west coast and moved to the east coast for me

Many times!!!! One of them was one day he had to confront all of my sisters (4 older sisters) to be on my side
