QOTD: The Mile High Club

OK, we've all heard about it, read about it, whatever.

I'm just curious, do we have any card carrying members on this board. A simple yes or no will do fine. If you want to go into detail on how you accomplished it, that's fine too.

And if not an airplane, any other form of public transportation will do fine (i.e. subway, bus, cab, trolley, horse and buggy)

yeah - that's why i asked the question, it doesn't seem possible

for me, i'm not a fan of flying, so you're not getting me to stand up, let alone....

DH wanted to on the way to Hawaii and I told him no way. We'd totally be caught!!!!

He mentioned it again about our trip to Ireland in November. Um yeah about 20 of the other wedding guests are on the same flight (we're going to a friend's wedding) so if we were caught we'd defintely never live it down!!!!!

It's just never gonna happen - at least on a plane.

I'd like to give it a shot... what are they gonna do kick you off the plane. Not sure if those blankets are big enough though.

ETA: My answer to the original question is NO .. but that's because while we've travelled a lot, we've never been on a plane together

I did!!!! it was quite interesting, but it worked, im offically a member

According to a friend who is a flight attendant it happens pretty frequently.

Alot of couples get up together to pee, since they both may have to get up to get out of the row and then they just sneak in together. Heck on one flight back from Florida I wasen't feeling well and ask the attendant to let my husband in ( now, I was honestly sick but if you were a good actor you could easily use that one)

Also many flights I have been on only have a few people on them so there is plenty of space between passengers in different rows.

I cannot confirm or deny my admittance to this club but Dh is a pilot and all of his friends are pilots so it wouldn't be difficult to arrange.

I'm with you Julz- I'll be trying it out 9/3. I am definitely on planning the bathroom thing. Any ideas of the 'how' are definitely welcome!

ETA: I know 'HOW' I mean how to do it discreetly- and get into the bathroom together without being noticed.
