How are your relationships with your future in-laws (FMIL, FFIL, FSIL, etc)? Are they very different from your family?is that good or bad? How is FH's relationship with your family?
My relationship with my in laws is very confusing to me- at times I think they love me & then other times I don't know how they feel about me. I think they are all great people but one of FH's sisters made it very known last year that she doesn't like me so I think that has caused alot of issues/tension that doesn't need to be there. FH family is very different then mine-my family is the type that doesn't censor anything we tell it how it is. I think FH family likes to keep alot of things to themselves & are not always very open. My family loves FH especially my mom- she picks his side over mine most of the time lol.

Relationship with my mom is rocky.. We have our moments and I'll leave it at that. With my dad has been great. Since my parents are divorced, FH's parents/family almost instantly became mine.
On some occasions I spoke to them more than I did my own mom and dad.
It's really been wonderful.
They are very thoughtful and generous people and I feel so lucky to become a part of the family.

I love my future in-laws, our views on a lot of things are very different and my FfIL loves to tease me about being one of those 'libs' but he's always respectfully.
My FMIL and I took a while to grow on one another but now we're good. My parents LOVE FH I think they would trade me in for him if they could, and FH has gone as far as to say that my dad is one of his heroes. Our parents are very similar and have only been around each other a few times but they get along pretty well.
I read some people's complaints on other sites and thank goodness I got so lucky.

Our families are total opposites. He has a large reserved family and I have a small gregarious mess of a family.
His mother reminds me of an Italian Martha Stewart. She's got her sweet side, but their is definitely something lurking behind that sweetness. The only time she gets on my nerves is when she acts like her ish don't stink. She actually told me no one would come to our ceremony because we're having it on a Friday.

My family loves my FH and his family loves me, thankfully!
We definitely spend more time with my family, but thats just because my family likes to spend time together where his is more like holiday get togethers.
My FMIL is so easy to get along with, I've had no problems with her thankfully. I get along with my FSIL's pretty good, although I'm more comfortable around one rather than the other. I really don't know my FFIL, but thats just a reflection of FH and his relationship. Once his parents divorced FH and his dad grew apart. I think I'm pretty luck with my IL. Hopefully it stays that way through out the whole wedding planning process.

I hate my In-laws,my FH mother past in 06 of Cancer and he has 1 sister, but his grandmother, aunts and cousins are the worse, there gross, rude and gossips about me all the time, even his single sister that I've spent more money on than my own sister she's the worse and she lives with us, there all hateful people and I cant believe my FH is even related to them. The people that matter to him loves me which is his GG mother,Godmother and his Father :) My family loves him, and who every dosent we stay away from!!!
