Good morning. I know questions have been asked about wedding gowns already, but I just love talking about them and looking at pictures. So today's question is...
What are/were the requirements for your wedding gown? Feel free to post pics.
I am looking for a glamorous gown with some glitz. I either want a trumpet or fit and flare silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and a court or chapel train.
I'll post some pics after work.

I find that whenever I say I don't want something or I have to have something, I end up going in the opposite direction. For example, I never wanted or imagined myself in a mermaid dress. Now it seems to be the style I'm leaning towards. I always thought I would want a ball gown and now I'm finding that's not what i want anymore. The number one requirement is to cover the tatas I don't want to think about them or see pictures with them trying to bust free. Im trying to find a dress with straps.

The vision for my dress is tight and fitted through the hip, either a drop waist ball gown or a mermaid, and then I just want there to be an EXPLOSION of fabric for the skirt. LOL I know it sounds crazy but I really want a dramatic dress that is classy and not tacky.

I haven't started shopping yet! I want something that feels classic, I'm not really a bling type of girl... I'm hoping I have that 'know it when I see it' moment!

Being there aren't too many dresses I've seen that I like.... I want something romantic, classic and yet something that has a princess-like twist.
Not Disney princess (not for me), but something more along the lines of medieval renaissance faire romance (that is my theme-ish afterall).
I love how I happen to look in lace most of the time, and would love a dress with some lace in it. Also something that's corset backed is a must, if not a corset itself.

after looking at dresses forever online I always thought I had a specific style I wanted, but the other day I tried on this dress and just fell in love. looking online i never thought i would like this style
**I actually tried in on as a whim and it felt amazing on! all my BMs started to cry
I actually wanted something with straps because during my cousins wedding most of the time she was pulling up her dress so her boobs didn't pop out. Well... I went with a strapless BUT it has a corset back to keep those puppies in
It needed to have...you guessed it 'BLING!!' I looooove the back of my dress. I wanna marry it! LOL I wanted to feel gorgeous and when I walked down the church I wanted everyone to gasp when they saw the back since that is mostly whatt hey see at the church! I got my dress at Priscilla of Boston before it closed and it was an aamzing experience I'll never forget. Their dresses reminded me of dresses I had seen in movies and if they weren't closing I would have never afforded my dress!
My second dress I wanted BLING!!! Int he front and back and everywhere. I wanted to feel sexy and gorgeous and thats why i bought the second dress. I LOVE my first dress but it does weigh ALOT! I just couldn't see myself not freakin out about the dress all night and it just being so heavy so I got the second one. I wanna wear them all the time. I get the first one back soon from the alterations lady and your damn straight I'm gonna try it on at least every other day! :)
The first 3 pics are my ceremony gown and the last one is the front top of the second dress!

I want a sweetheart neck with a corseted like top - not sure about the skirt yet. I'm going shopping on Saturday so hopefully I'll say YES to the dress!

Thanks Lili. I love both of your dresses. Think I might have to crash the ceremony and reception so I can see both in person

I definitely want lace and for it to not be strapless, just so it fits in well with the tons of 50s/60s touches all over. I'd love for it to have sleeves, but the way the weather is I don't think October would be cold enough for that anymore!

I wanted white, with beading and little to no lace. I got my dress last month and I love it.

I'm going dress shopping next week! I'm so excited! I want a lace up back and preferably a sleeve of some sort. I love lace! I don't know what kind of silhouette will look best. I think I'm going to stick with a classic A-line.
