Happy Thursday!!! Just one more day until Friday!!!

So on Monday I asked about FH and their gifts to you. Today lets do vice versa!

What is the sweetest thing you have done for FH?

FH is a big tech geek and always talks about gadgets that he wants to get but never buys. Mostly in part because he can't decide since something new comes out like every minute. There are a few things I have bought for him, but his favorite had to be when I surprised him with a new smartphone. He was so shocked and surprised and he actually loves the phone. I ended up getting the same one so we could video chat when we are not around each other.

I know it won't make sense to most of you guys, but his favorite gift was a set of markers. He's an artist so I got him a set of Prismacolors. Cost me almost $400, but it was worth it to see the look on his face!

Well, FH is a huge RedSox fan (boo!)—I guess that comes along with being from Boston, so MLB Opening day 2010 was at Fenway against the Yankees (who had just won their 27th title) I knew he really wanted to go & we were already going to Boston to visit his family, so I surprised him with tickets-and they were really good seats- he was so surprised & absolutely loved it, it was a fun day.

Overall I like to think I do a ton of little, sweet things for FH. I love taking care of him, but not in an overbearing mom kind of way.

The biggest one was when we decided we would live together and I would move into his apartment. We had been talking about going to the Jets/Pats game since we started dating. We started pricing out tickets in Aug and I knew I wanted to take him for his bday. It was getting to be too expensive, so we started to scratch that idea.

When we decided to move in together I realized I had an entire months rent for my other place saved that I wouldn't need to use for rent. I called FH before work and said, 'so, I have x amount of money for rent that I don't need. Jets/Pats game?' He was beyond thrilled. As soon as he got to work he started looking up tickets and emailed me and told me I was the best girlfriend ever.

I realize it wasn't a surprise, but it made him so happy and we had so much fun. Except when the Pats lost and it put me in a terrible mood...

He's a huge Giant's fan and never been to a football game. Since the new stadium, it's been so hard, and very expensive to get tickets, so he got used to just watching the games from home.

So, for his birthday last year, I went on Ebay and found tickets for the Giants/Cowboys game (which I new he'd love). I wrapped up the tickets with a Giants sweatshirt and he was shocked! Best part was...a few of his friends happened to be going to that game and we all tailgated together...he loved that day

It was well worth the money!

FH is a HUGE Jets fan so I arranged for us to go to Pittsburgh for the Jets vs Steelers game last December. FH's birthday is on Christmas Day, and the Jets vs Steelers game was the prior weekend, so it worked out really well as a bday gift.

He was SO happy! I, on the other hand, was freezing and stuffed into a PARKA! lol

FH is a huge football fan & his favorite college team is Notre Dame. He had never seen a game live so for our anniversary last year I got him tickets. Not only was it his first live college game but his favorite team plus I got extremely good seats he was beyond excited.

I try to do lots of sweet little things. The sweetest thing that he thinks I've done (or so I believe) is getting him video games for our anniversary. His response was that I was the best fiance ever. All the guys at Game Stop agreed when I was talking to them lol

I try to do lots of sweet things. On his birthday one year I surprised him with a cake in the shape of a Mets hat and a new watch and there was this other time when he was flying home from Vegas (after a bachelor party) and his father was supposed to pick him up at the airport but I went and surprised him instead.

I always try to do little things. I'll leave cards for him, I've made him batches of brownies just because, and I make his lunch every single day (even tho I work from home and don't need to make lunch for myself). Hmmm, with all the food things I do, can you tell I'm Italian

I do several sweet things for FH b/c his schedule is soo hectic he sometimes doesn't have time to do the things he wants to do. So I like to cook for him when he's off nights and i make him desserts b/c he loves desserts. And of course lil gestures here and there. Overall I feel I'm going to be a great FW to him and he says it to me all the time.

Our dog! He always wanted a pug and I always wanted a pomeranian. We agreed we would get a pomeranian on Valentine's Day a few years ago. I decided to surprise him with a pug on Christmas. He looked like a little kid when he saw him. It was the cutest thing.

FH is a big Notre Dame football fan. I decided to surprise him (or tried to) with a trip to Baltimore, MD where they would be playing again the Navy.

I bought the tickets, got the hotel and then 10 days before we're supposed to leave, we were talking about the road trip, how long it was going to take, what to pack, etc...

Out of the blue, he says, are we going to Maryland? I couldn't lie, I just can't lie LOL

I smiled and laughed and said yes.

Turns out he had checked the schedule a couple of days before and was suspicious.

It was a great road trip, we had a great time and he absolutely loved my idea

That is beyond awesome! I see so many expensive posters that I want. That really is amazing that you can redraw stuff like that.
