Saturday May 7th. FH and I met on January 7th, his birthday is February 7th and my birthday is August 7th. We just felt like we needed to get married on the 7th & after looking at the 2016 calendar we chose May 7th because we also love the spring time

Friday...I wanted a Halloween wedding but I chose the Friday before for a number of reasons 1. About $2000 cheaper 2. So we could go on a Halloween mini-moon to Salem 3.We have a lot of kids going about 10 and would hate for them to miss out on trick or treating.

friday. i wanted to get married on our dating anniversary (Sept 24), but due to leap year, it isnt on a friday and i would have to wait until 2016 for it to be on a saturday. we got a great deal on sept 4 because its a holdiay weekend. it within the same month, so i'm happy :)

We are getting married on a Saturday. Would have loved to have got married on New Year's Eve. What better way to bring in the New Year with family and friends, so we got the closest date there after which ended up being the 3rd.

We are getting married on a Friday- but since its the day after Thanksgiving alot of ppl are off already - so its almost like a Saturday but at a Friday price

Like Kim we wanted New Years Eve but the prices were out of control so we chose a Sunday because it's the day before Martin Luther King Jr. Day and most people have off so it's kind of like a Saturday but with Sunday pricing...
And there are no bugs in the winter :)

On a Friday, because we are a smaller party and the place would accommodate us on either a Friday or Sunday only. We wanted to get married in June around the date we met, but that date was taken.

Great minds think alike!!! Now I am just keeping my fingers and toes crossed for nice weather. We really lucked out with the summer not being too hot but the other day when it rained I could not believe it!!! I am from Queens so we did not get half of what Long Island was hit with. This weather is just so crazy. Just want to find a happy medium with the winter for our special day ( a light flurry - a dusting. Nothing else =)

Yeah I'm in Jersey so we didn't get much but my parents and cousin had their basement flooded, definitely not cool :(
fingers are crossed and can you believe how freaking close it is, time is just flying. When I first created my account on here I was in the high 600 for days until, now I'm under 160. Crazy :)

Wow, I'm glad to see so many Friday weddings! We are doing Friday and at first FFIL threw a big fit about it. We chose it because it was SO much cheaper. It didn't make sense to me to have the same exact wedding for thousands of dollars more the next day. We picked Memorial Day weekend so people would have an extended weekend, and because FH is so very patriotic :) Also after booking we found out that it was his late grandfather's birthday. Our dating anniversary is on his other late grandfather's birthday. Funny how that worked out!

We are getting married on a Friday. It was definitely cheaper and this way we both have 2 days in between before going back to work instead of one. I wanted to get married the weekend before because im off for spring break but it's Easter weekend and the church won't marry you on good Friday or holy Saturday.

We are getting married on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend.
We chose the date because our anniversary is in May and a lot of other great things have happened to us in the month of May! We decided to go with Sunday since most people have off the Monday after for the holiday and so we could save some money.
