QOTD-Tuesday

Hey Ladies! Good Morning you all my 09ers!!!

So When I was thinking of today's question I thought back to a conversation that me and my FH constantly have....

When do you think it will hit you? When do you think you have the moment of realization that,
OMG I'm Getting Married, I'm going to be Someones Wife?

Its especially hard for those of us who live with our FH because most of the time, we feel and act like a married couple already.

But I know the moment will come when it really hits me.

I think that moment will come on the day at the church when we say the vows. Being in front of our families and God, I think that it will finally become real.

For me I think it was most real at our e-party because we were like wow everyone is here to celebrate US and it was strange for the first time to know every person at a party. Usually you only know half (either mine or his) but for once everyone was there because we wanted them there.

it still hasnt hit me. I think once i start looking at places and get into the swing of things it will hit me!

When we booked our hall and could officially tell people our date, that's when it became real to me.

For me, we have the date, and place, I even have the dress.... but it still seems like a far away thing....

The day I brought the dress, it did have a feeling of its comming, when I saw myself in it with the veil on and everything, I cried then because I could see that it was really going to happen

I came home and told FH, Now you have to marry me cause I have something to wear now!

fh and I have decided to wait till we are married to officially move in together. Were renovating his basement appt and its going to be really nice, but, i dotn want to rush into anything...

I dont know when it will hit me. Probably wont until the first time one of my students calls me mrs f lol

It hasn't really hit me yet - I think the e-party in March will make it more real but I think Jan 09 when we move in together will be the turning point and I can't wait!

It hasn't really hit me either. I've lived with my FH for 4 years. I also have almost everything booked for the wedding. I think it will really hit me the morning of when I'm getting ready.

to realize that we are getting married i think when i pick out a dress it will be the breakdown for sure.
Also lastnight i was half asleep and i got a call from him to say good night and when i said i love you it hit me that wow i found the one... It was a great feeling.

it hasnt really hit me yet. me and fh dont live together, and arent planning on moving in together till the month of our wedding, or right after. depending on when the apartment is ready. im thinking it will probably hit me then..

it semi hit us when we had our engagement party, we both looked at eachother, teared up, and said 'omg this is real!' haha. i think it will hit us again when we start to go house hunting/find a house/and finally purchase one if we are fortunate enough. and it will finally hit us at the wedding.

It sort of hit me when I made 3 1/2 hours of phone calls to tell EVERYONE we were engaged. Than a little bit again at our E-party. A little more when we booked Douglaston.

But I think the BAM! moment will be walking down the aisle.

It hits me a little bit from time to time..but it hasn't REALLY hit me yet. Like you said, since we've been living together for so long sometimes it already feels like we're married..so I think I need the whole church thing to make me realize we are REALLY married...

I think for me it will be the actual day of my wedding; when I'm getting dress into my gown. And, the cameras will be flashing and I (like of all of us) will be center of attention. I hope I don't become to overhelm.

I think that I will get emotional
(1) once I see myselft all dressed up and ready to get married
(2) during the vows and ring exchange
(3) once I change my name and get all my I.D.'s and documents with his last name on them
