I was trying to think of a question on the way driving to work this morning and all there was is rain.....
So here it goes....I know that nobody can predict the weather and everyone pictures a beautiful, sunny, warm wedding day. IF you woke up and it was like today, rainy, cold, wet, and just gross ....what would your first reaction be??? would you initially cry? would you not care??? And do you have any backup plans as far as pictures if it does rain???
......as for me, if i woke up and it was today I would definitely cry at first (I cry for the littlest things, Im gonna have to wear waterproof mascara bc im gonna be bawling at the church). Eventually I would get past it, but I've always thought of the picture perfect wedding day, warm, blue skies, maybe a rainbow haha....etc. .....I have no idea about pictures I guess I would just do them at my house, in the church, and at the RH

Yes I would probably cry since lately I cry over the stupidest things but I think I would get over it once all of the days festivities started! I would probably have to have a drink to calm myself down but I think I would get over it and just enjoy the day!

I might cry, I'm not sure. I plan on buying really cute umbrellas in case this happens, and hopefully the photographer will be creative and get some really good pics. Hopefully none of us have to worry about this though!!!!

if it rains MOH and I have already decided to wear crazy rain boots and carry colorful umbrellas and take funny pics. hey, what can you do right? you cant control the weather.

I probably wouldn't cry but I'd be very disappointed. I'd take all the pictures I could but then maybe try to work something out with the photographer that he/she could come back on a sunny day and we could do a reshoot....get all dressed up again and pretend we just got married hahaha. I def want outside pics!!

I would cry at first, but then get over it. As far as pictures, I would be a little upset, because our RH has beautiful grounds and I definitely want lots of pictures outside. OUr hall also has tons of inside picture opportunities, so we would just have to make the best of it.

haha funny that this is the QOTD bc I was thinking the same thing when i saw all this rain! I def think I'd be disappointed, but you can't control the weather, so I'd try not to let it get me too down. Since our wedding's in Dec, we prob won't be outside much as it is. Part of the reason we picked our hall was bc there are a good amount of places to take beautiful pix inside as well. But like Amy said, I want to take some pix with rainboots and umbrellas! I believe in making the best of the situation and I've seen some super cute rain pix!

I would definitely be bummed (of course), but i would need to tell myself to pull it together and make the best of it. (I can take pictures in the RH just in case!!!)

i'd cry at first. But I always try to make the best of every situation, so it wouldn't bother me after a while. Plus after a few mimosas, nothing will really bother me LOL

I will be so upset since I really want an outdoor ceremony...I picked June because I love the weather! Lol, I'd be pissed if I picked high season only to have it rain.
That being said, it rained on my parent's wedding day and my parents say it's good luck. So maybe I wouldn't mind a weeee little sprinkle lol.
I'm not worried about picture opts since de seversky is gorgeous inside!

Cry, Cry & Cry ( I skipped CHurch to have an outdoor ceremony and also an outdoor CH)
Once i get it all out, id think about the real reasons im getting married and the hell with the Rain. IM GETTING MARRIEDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I would be upset because our cocktail hour is suppose to be outside, but I would make the most of it.
I really need to think of a back up plan for pictures though!

i might cry, i'm not sure. i know i would try to make the best of it but i don't know h ow many pics we would be able to take since we are taking pics outside and there aren't many places to take pics at our RH. there are, but there are only so many places topose in there without someone knowing where you are.

Well i will most likely cry, but hopefully pull myself together and put on a super cute pair of rain boots, grabbed the cute umbrellas, all things i plan to purchase and make the best of things and hopefully get some great pics!

I don't think I would cry, I'd probably just try to take fun rainy pics instead! Its the weather, not much we can do about it. Just make the best of it!

I dont think I would cry i would just be like pouty and F ML, my RH has balconys hanging over all the outside parts so I would just hope that my photographers were ready and willing to get wet!! I would just be thinking ofcoursee this would happen to me but I'd try and move past!

I would try my best not to cry so my face wont get puffy. But since i will definitly have PMS that day , i may be a ragging lunatic! but i would call my BM right away so i can shotgun a good cocktail hour room since it wont be outside!

This was one of the deciding factors in picking our RH.
We loved both CB and Thatched Cottage but felt that if it rained and we were stuck inside, we would not be as disappointed at CB as we would be at Thatched. One of the selling points of Thatched is the gorgeous outdoors. At CB, we love the indoor area just as much as the outdoor area.
We didn't want to have to be worrying about the weather like we were with our E-pics. You can't reschedule the wedding because of rain! lol
So, if I woke up and it was like this I would not cry. I would be a little bit bummed but it wouldn't ruin the day for me.
In fact, I already told FH that it WILL rain just so that if it doesn't I'll be pleasantly surprised.
