The biggest splurge in terms of over-budget-ness was the venue. We originally didn't want to go over $100pp and wanted only 150 people. Now we're paying over $20pp more and guaranteeing 175. Oy. Oh well! It'll be worth it! =)

The venue as well...didn't want to go over $100pp we ended up with about $130.

the caterer- it is wayyyy higher than we were anticipating, but worth it since the food is amazing and we want to give our guests the best experience

So far the only thing I spent more than I thought I would on is the dress. I'm going to end up about $500 more there than I had planned, but I don't think that's too bad. I have a feeling I'll be spending more on flowers than I had wanted to, but that's because I didn't have a real grasp on what they actually cost.

LOL the venue. I originally thought I was going to walk into Chateau Briand and book then I walked into Sand Castle and suddenly my price went up lol

Our venue is the largest purchase by far-- but the splurge was the band. They are the Dane Wright Band from Hank Lane Entertainment. They played FSIL's wedding and are so incredible. No one will sit the entire time and having a fun party is the most important thing to us!

We wanted to keep the venue around $100 pp but we are paying more than that with tax but luckily we were able to talk down the minimum amount of people that needed to be guaranteed
