Many girls are planning themes for their weddings. FH and I aren't too big on full blown themes BUT we are adding subtle winter wonderland flavors to our reception.
So this got me thinking...
If you HAD to have a theme for your wedding (sparing no expense), what would it be like?? Bring on the details!

I think I would do a whole Regal theme: in a gorgeous castle with sprawling grounds overlooking an ocean. I would do all white, cream, champagne colored décor. There would be Crystal chandeliers, white draping from ceiling to walls, elegant floral centerpieces….the “whole 9” when it comes to extravagant!

It would be a FULL OUT YANKEE THEME!!!!!
FH told me I had to do something a little more formal. I originally wanted to get married at Yankee Stadium, navy blue dresses, have Derek Jeter show up! lol
I am not really doing a theme now

We are bringing in the Mets to our wedding but If money were no option we would have had the wedding at Citifield.

Not really a theme but we are doing as much bling as possible! I love anything that sparkles! Lol Not sure if I'd do a full blown theme.

I'm kinda going beachy with little hints of starfish, seashells, and beach here and there but NOT overkill.
If money were no object, I would probably have gotten married somewhere that cost more and went full blown beach, but with class and elegance :)

If it were up to FH it would be a full blown Jets theme, probably having it at the Meadowlands! LOL
Currently there is a subtle rustic theme to our wedding. if money were no object I would love a full rustic theme, having the reception in a beautiful barn, set around some gorgeous landscape, ceremony under a huge oak tree.

I don't know that I would do a theme, but if I didnt have to worry about money I would definitely do my wedding in a castle, so maybe it would be royalty themed.

it would be be either a Winter wonderland theme which is what we are loosely doing now. Or a regal theme because I am big on Sleeping Beauty..LOL

I love how so many of the 2012ers are so sports related. I think we definitely have to do a G2G at the Long Island Ducks game!

That would be FUN! I live right across from Ducks stadium so we can pre-game at my place
tonight, when I get home maybe I'll set up a thread for anyone interested!

We are doing a 5 de Mayo Theme!!!!!!! FH and I are both Mexican so we want to incorporate our culture in the wedding but still keeping it classy so it doesn't look like a FIESTA but more like a wedding.
If we had the expense .. we would have the wedding in Mexico and fly out our families and friends but that would be a lot of ppl and we can't afford to fly them all out. So we are bringing Mexico to them here in NY.

I'm doing a fairytale theme. If i could I would get married at disney world. I would love to have a cinderella carriage instead of a limo. Actually if I could I would just do a crazy multi theme wedding. I would want to incorporate a bit of every thing I love from movies, video games, and anime. If I had it my way it would just be all over the place.

my Theme is 'Wishes' the firework show at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World. So I am incorporating small hints of fireworks and a little Disney as well.
I found a fireworks themed invite on etsy that is waaay out of budget that I would definitely use! Also, I would definitely end the night with our own fireworks show!!!
I am already have uplighting in the ballroom, but I think I would add some more lighting to the ceiling like the falling star ones.
I would have also had the wedding 4th of July weekend!! But that was out of budget.
Wow lots of things I could have added 'sparing no expense'

I really wanted a theme and have been battling with this for quite a while. I wanted something like princess and dreams do come true or carnival... LOL!
I still don't know what I'm actually going to do. But I love all the ideas from you all!!! Very creative!!!! =)
