I am all about making unforgettable memories. And this weekend FH and I are hosting my parents first visit to NYC. I am super excited to show them my new home. I want to make their visit as memorable as possible!
So the question today is what is your favorite sight, restaurants, street or area in Manhattan to visit with family and friends??? And explain why it is such a great memory of yours. And if you have pictures, feel free to post them as well.
Looking forward to all of your answers girls! Have a fabulous day. xo, Suzie

I don't know if your parents are into shows but FH and I LOVE broadway! We try to go to atleast 2 shows a year, and then we either eat at Tony's Di Napoli which is family style and sooo good! Or we go to Angelo & Maxie's which has awesome steak!

We dont go to NYC... too far from us... dont have too much $ to spend $30pp on train, or take our car tehre and pay for parking... So cant answer the question... Plus, everyone has Busy schedules and we dont get the days off at the same time..
PS: Next time maybe u can just ask What is ur fav restaurant/place to visit with family so we can all answer...

anytime you are with friends is a fun time! there is a new Pop Tart World on 42nd street between 6th avenue & Broadway. The Hershey Store is always fun and you can make your own little tool box of candy. There is a dinner theatre restaurant on 38th Street between 6th Avenue & Broadway called Arno's. they do thos emystery type theatre shows where you have to find out who murdered who. so much fun! There are tons of awesome restaurants in the theatre district that serve menus that are at a price fix. so an appetizer, entre and dessert are only $25. they don't include drinks and the menus are abbreviated, but if your on a budget, its worth checking out! Central Park is fabulous! so many different places to see and your still in the park.
I am a huge museum buff!!!! So i would highly recommend the Museum of Natural History. There is nothing like it! and if your up for the ride, and are interested, there is a museum called the Cloisters in upper manhattan. Its a 15th century Medieval Castle! the views are spectacular!

South Street Seaport during fleet week. hahaha. I love looking at all the cute sailors. My friends and I used to go all the time down there when we were younger. There is a restaurant that is really good there too, a Mexican place called Red. They have the best margaritas.

Me and my friends always hung out by St. Marks. Whether it was to go down there to shop for Used CDs, vintage clothing, go on random photo excursions, catch a show at The Continental (may it R.I.P) or eat at our favorite sushi restaurant (Zen), we always had a great time whenever we were there.
I just always loved it because you'll never know what you are gonna see down there - whether it be a midget driving by on a little motocycle or a tranny looking for a good time LOL.

I never get tired of Madama Tussauds Wax museum! I always have so much fun, everytime I go there. I also love going to the Top of The Rock - It is just so amazing to go up there at night and look at the city with all of the beautiful lights. Broadway shows are great too, we try to go to at least 1 a year, there are so many good ones! Lat time we went to see a show we had dinner in a restaurant called NIOS --- Delicious!!!!!
I like to go to Cleveland a lot to see my brother & sister in laws. We always have the best times there.

i agree! lets cut suzie some slack! she has already had a very hard wk with her moh issues and she has expressed that. the question was not meant to exclude anybody and i'm sure its hard to gear every qotd so everybody is happy, which will never happen. nobody has to answer every qotd

I'm sorry that you felt that you couldn't answer this question V, but this is just plain rude. There are multiple QOTD's that I feel I cannot/do not want to answer, but I'm not about to punish/yell at the BOTW! I just won't answer it that day.
Suzie - I love Alice's Tea Cup as a place for brunch (but the lines are sometimes long!) and I always love going to Color Me Mine for some custom pottery! Cheaper ideas I would say I never tire of walking around Central Park, whatever the weather. I love it!
HTH!

My favorite part of NYC is Rockefeller Center and St Pat's Cathedral. My grandparents use to take me there every year at Christmas time and it still brings me back. When I took FH to NYC for his first ever trip last year I made sure to bring him there.

FH and I stopped in there in the spring for coffee and icecream bc we had a picnic in the park. We thought it was so nice so we are trying to plan a day to rent one of the row boats and eat at the boat house.

ya know my fav part of nyc is going in and just finding somewhere NEW. My MOH and I are always stopping in somewhere we've never been...maybe a small interesting restaurant or bar and seeing if it's good. That's the best part of NYC imo. You can go there and find something new to see every time :)
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE off or off off Broadway shows. They're always so different unlike the big Broadway ones that I love as well. But sometimes you find a gem.
