Hi Melissa....ok so for me it depends...if I had alot of no shows I wouldn't mind. Now if I had a full house and had to pay extra then I'd talk to fh to see what he says.

I guess it would depend on who it was. I dont want any drama at my wedding so I guess as long as they come with a gift they could stay!

No drama allowed - I would just squeeze them in but FH and I already have an RSVP back up plan so hopefully this doesn't happen to us

I would let the RH find room for them and deal with the miscommunication after my wedding

that is one thing that I really dont want but probably is going to happen (b/c of certain FIL) . FH and I said that if we have full house we will have to inform them that we didnt count on them coming and we havent paid for them expense (in other way pay for your plate or leave) I know it sound mean but I dont have a magic plant to start getting money for everyone to decide to show up without RSVP in advance or bring a guest with being invited with one

I'd give them an earful and if they wanted to stay after that, I would have them make some room. But I will for sure be calling people who don't rsvp!

only because I would have already invited them which would mean they are pretty important..I would just make room.

i'd be annoyed but i'd make room for them.

I think I would let them know that we didn't expect them because they didn't RSVP and I think I may kick them out. HOW COULD SOMEONE DO THAT!????

Re: QOTD WED.

I was watching i thin bridezilla, one of those wedding shows, and a bride kicked an uninvited guest, who claimed she RSVPed, but the bride said she never got it, so she asked the girl to leave.

i would most likely make room for them, but they would hear my mouth afteer the wedding is done with, that i didnt like that they didnt RSVP. anyone i send an invite to who doesnt, i thin kim going to call to make sure this doesnt happen

In all honestly I'd let it go for the cocktail hour but before everyone went into the reception I'd ask the maitre'd or the banquet manager to quietly ask them to leave. I dont mean to sound mean but I really dont want to pay for someone that doesnt belong there. But i definitely would not make a scene about it.

as mean as it sounds... i would kick them out...

i mean seriously i want to give ppl atleast 5 - 4 months to RSVP...so ppl can't say they didnt have enough time.. and if i dont hear anything from the dead line i'm going to make phone calls.... so if they should up without letting me know i would let them stay for the cocktail hour.. but once it comes time to sit down... either pay for your own plate or get the f*** out... then again it depends who u r.. but i dont plan to have a lot of ppl, so sorry... and i'm going to make sure my bridal party knows the rule on ppl just showing up, i dont want them to make room and i have to pay for it...

it's simple... dont disrespect me, if you do.. then i'll disrespect u right back... buh byeee...

I agree. I would maybe let the person stay for cocktail hour, but I would tell someone to handle it and not make room for them. I guess it all depends on when I would notice it. It is rude and by now everyone in both famlies and friends should know etiquette.
