Since I've started to plan the wedding, I have learned sooo much about little touches and trends that I never knew about before!
Question: What has been your favorite new idea you have learned about, and where did you learn about it? (LIW, magazine, TV, friend, family)
My answer: I used to think place cards were just standard size/color cards that a calligrapher or your hall puts together for you, end of story. Since then, I have seen sooo many different ideas on blogs and magazines, including using wine corks as the card holder for a vineyard wedding! I knew this was a great opportunity to stand out, so I came up with my own placecards. (see in my 'ideas and inspiration' album)

I have to say I didn't really know about E-Pics before starting to plan this wedding. I'm really glad that we decided to do it, b/c we don't have alot of pics together and we ended up loving them! Even though I have not done them, I definitely would not have known what B-Pics were if not for LIW.

Definitely the Channa Plaques. I think they are soo cute and never heard of them until I found this website. I can't wait to order ours!!

All of these ideas are from LIW. The lovely touches are the personalized hangers, using photo albums as escort cards, doing picture table number, channa plaque, and personalized cake topper.

ive always known about the 'little personal touches' but never knew the extent of them. between this site and all the blogs i have gotten soooo many ideas!
recently after reading a blog i saw one thing that just started a brain storm btwn me and FH and next thing you knew it has become kinda our theme and i am sooo excited now cause its that thing we needed to really make it US, before that i was worring cause it just sounded like a reg wedding and all our guest were saying stuff like 'i cant wait til your wedding, cause i know its gonna be something crazy and different and fun' and thought i would let them down.

I was one of those people we complain about that thinks after the major vendors are booked you're done! lol

i definitely never knew about the channa plaque or b-pics trends before this site. i don't plan on doing either, but all of the creative ideas i hear about on this site and blogs get me thinking of ways to personalize my own wedding. so helpful!

The Channa plaque was a big deal for me when I first heard about it. I saw it on LIW & no one knew anything about it
