~*~QOTD: Wednesday. 3/21/12~*~

We might have already done this first question before but I couldn't remember. I know we discussed it at the last G2G. FH was my inspiration for the second part of the question.

Do you have a color scheme or theme for the wedding?
If FH were planning the wedding what would his color scheme or theme be if he had free range?

Our color theme is navy blue and pale pink with accents of white. We don't really have a theme though.
FH would have a Japanese theme if I let him. He loves Japanese art and cherry blooms. Although FH been to a lot of wedding from working them so he MIGHT have made it work. I did decide to do cheery blooms centerpieces though. (That how the pale pink got into the color scheme.)

My colors are black and hot pink. My dress is champagne colored, so I want my invites to be that color with black and pink accents. I have the color theme with my flowers, bridesmaids, signature drinks and little chotchkes (like the flip flop/slipper basket, personalized cocktail napkins and match books, favors)

There isn't much of a theme, but our STD have childhood pics on them and our tables will have pics of us at the age of the number table. We will also have family photos in frames around the hall to make it more personalized.

Since our wed is in Feb, we kinda went with snowflakes too (they will be hung up for ceremony and also used on the personalized items)

FH doesn't have any input to anything! He seems to like my black and hot pink because he bought me all new soccer stuff in those colors!

As of right now, Im looking at navy and maybe either pale pink or pale yellow. It keeps changing everyday!! haha

Our theme is vineyard since we are getting married at Vineyard Caterers.

If FH had complete control, it would def be sports themed. He would probably have all his fav teams incorporated into it, Jets, Yankees, and Knicks.

I'm doing cobalt blue and fuschia!
FH would have the same color scheme because we picked it together! =)

I've talked about my theme before on here. We are going to have a secret garden theme. I'm not 100% on my colors, but right now i'm leaning towards muted fall tones and burgundy.

FH has agreed with everything so far and has been so helpful (he's actually the genius behind our invitations!). If he was throwing his own party that would have colors or a theme I'm pretty sure he would just have green and white in honor of the Jets.

We're having a peacock theme. Colors will be dark purple, dark teel and cobolt blue.

FH likes our theme and colors but if it were up to him Im sure the wedding would be NY sports teams themed.

We are doing navy with hints of silver/platinum and yellow. FH wanted sunflowers, hence the yellow. Blue has always been my favorite color, so I wasn't budging on that.

If it was up to FH, the whole wedding would be a mix of the Cowboys and Batman We have a lot of little Batman touches (table numbers, his shirt under his tux, gobo, and entrance song), so he's happy and I'm happy because I can rein him in.

Our colors are eggplant, lavender, ivory, and champagne.

Even though FH jokes about the groomsman getting dressed like a character from Rocky he actually helped picked out the colors for our theme.

Our color scheme is Cherry red & Tiffany blue!
And our theme is Whimsical, Garden-y with a few hints of The Wizard of Oz-my favorite movie everrrrr. (Hahaha if I had a nickel for every time I've posted that exact sentence on this board! )

I'm not sure what my fiance' would pick if he could pick the colors.... I'm sure something with blue in it though and/or Rangers or Mets related...

I LOVE that you're wearing a champagne dress! I told one of my BMs that when I do start looking, I wouldn't mind some champagne and that really pretty soft grey color and she thought I was being ridiculous lol.



Our color scheme is totally the opposite of anything I ever imagined I'd pick - very vintage, soft yellow, coral, mint, those kind of grandma pastel colors. There will also be dove grey, tiffany blue-ish, and ivory in most of our details.


If FH was planning the wedding I think his colors would be black & yellow for Batman Or, maybe just blue and grey? He wears those two colors almost exclusively, with some black and brown, so that would most likely be his main palette. Wouldn't mind some batman though!

I'm happy to see I'm not the only bride with a Batman obsessed FH! Our table numbers came out amazing! He did the whole thing on photoshop and did each of the characters in black and white - but the white is just the paper. There's no outlines or anything. It looks so cool I wish I could actually post one!

I haven't decided on colors yet... eek! But I love soft blues & greens. FH would def have either a sports or wrestling themed wedding! lol

That sounds awesome! FH is going to design little pictures of us for our program paddle fans...maybe we can have Batman accents in our pictures? I wish I knew how to Photoshop like our FHs!

My color scheme is shades of purple and a hint of either white or ivory depending on the color of my wedding gown. The theme I have created is purple glamour. I need to have some glitz at wedding.

If it were up to FH our color scheme would be green and white for the NY Jets.
