How has your wedding day visionc hanged since you started doing your planning? Did you realize you don't like what you thought you might have? Did you have to compromise on something you didn't think you would have to?
In my case it weird because I never really imagined getting married. As a tennager I always said I'm not getting married, no kids, blah blah blah and here I am with a son and getting married. LOL. I guess when we started planning I was a bit overwhelmed because I thought 'I can't do this. Everything costs so much money. Who do I pick?' But it's been going good. I definately didn't always picture BM colors and flower arrangements but now when I envision something it's nice to make it happen. I didn't think I'd want a blinged out wedding but I do! I didn't think though that my bridal party would be all family and 20 people! I always thought that if I ever did get married it would be all my friends from high school. LOL I didn't think I wouldn't have seen or spoken to my dad in over a year so the who's walking me down the aisle thing is really bothering me. And I never thought I'd have such a big wedding which now makes me happy. I guess i never thought I'd be in such a happy place to be able to have a wedding like this.

I don't think a lot of stuff has changed or been different for me. FH & I do all the planning together, and tend to agree (knock on wood - he's been so easy). I haven't had to really compromise SO FAR, but there's still time

I never pictured a wedding and I honestly still can't picture it!! The being married part is fine... the wedding, I just can't imagine! But, everything is coming together according to my style and I don't think there's anything so far that changed drastically or took me by too much surprise.

Everything has pretty much stayed the same. I don't bend easily to anyone else's criticisms, so even though FFIL was annoying about location, it's on LI to make it easy for my 90+ year old relatives. Mom and sister were drama queens about BM dresses, but my girls are picking whatever dress in whichever color from our palette. We did 'compromise' on a dj after FFIL went ahead and got us one, but FH & I are still creating the whole day's playlists. Luckily, what I did learn was that FH & I have really similar tastes...I was so excited but shocked when he said he wanted grey suits instead of tuxes

I always pictured myself getting married in a castle. Im such a princess, LMAO .... I always envisioned a smooth planning with no interference. But the planning is bumpy and with alot of hiccups along the way.

I used to plan weddings & events, so I was able to look at a lot of ideas, etc for all those years. Plus I am the last of our friends to get married so going to 15+ weddings over the years i learned a lot!
i just want a fun party where people talk about it for a long time. I want the stories, like omg remember at Lindsay & bryans wedding when....

My wedding day vision is being planned exactly how I pictured it when we first started planning. Colors, theme... every thing!

Our one thing we looked for was to get married outside and have a waterview. We are not getting married inside and do not have a waterview. I knew I would have been very stressed out if it was raining and I didn't like the inside set up of the ceremony, so this takes the pressure off of the weather. But, we do have a gorgeous outdoor cocktail hour that I am so excited for

I was set on getting married in a barn. It wasn't until I started to think about my wedding that I realized how much on a country girl I am inside. But alas, no barn for me. We went with Three Village Inn because it still had that rustic, historic charm to it, and I am more than happy with it.
