if someone showed up to your wedding that you invited, but they never RSVP'd, or said they were coming,......they showed up at your wedding, what would you do??? kick them out?? or find room for them??? ************************************************
The reason why I am asking this is because this happend to a 'friend' of mine at her shower (i use friend in quotations because shes not really my friend, shes my fhs friends wife, but she thinks were like bffs.....long story
Well anyway, she called the person up when she found out she was coming at told her to turn around and go home and the girl came anyway.
If it were me, I would make room for the person, if it was my wedding I would be a little pissed at first, but hey as long as they bring a gift all is welcome.

I would make room for her but definetly bring it up after the wedding. I wouldn't be confrontational of anything but it is really rude not to RSVP. I would probably say something like 'I never got your RSVP for the wedding so I assumed you weren't coming but I'm glad you made it!' Then see what her reasoning is.

I'd be pissed but I'd make room. I'd put them at whatever table was easiest though, not necessarily the table where they'd feel most comfortable.

I'm preparing for this to happen to me. Some people are notorious for not RSVP-ing. My cousins also RSVP no, and show up anyway. Or RSVP yes, and don't show. So I am planning for the worst, to make room for extra people. I am, however, planning on having a talk with them prior to the RSVP date. (One female cousin, instead of a date, brought her best friend. Not happening when I am paying $$)

Be pissed but make room.. People did this at our engagement party, just showed up when they clearly rsvp'd no, and some brought dates when they said they weren't, and just sat where they wanted and made it so others who rsvp'd yes had no seat.. We ended up having to find places for the people whose seats were taken.. was very very pissed, but wasn't about to tell anyone to go home

I would be really annoyed and pat them down to make sure they brought a gift with them.
Lol, jk but I would have to say something like 'What are you doing here?! I didn't know you were coming! Welll, we'll just have to squeeze you in somewhere.'
maybe seat them by themselves, facing the wall like a naughty child

at that point i would just find room and i don't think anyone i nmy family would tell me about this until everything is settled so that i wouldn't be stressed over it. but they had better bring a gift at this point!

Re: *********QOTD Wednesday 5/19************
ok so this is super embarrassing but we were almost those people one time! I really thought I had mailed back the response card and (THANK GOD) the day before the wedding while I was cleaning I found it had actually slipped behind the 'mail table' i keep by the front door.
I was horrified! My FH was able to call the groom and say 'we just realized we didn't rsvp, if there is room we would love to attend, if not we understand'. Thankfully the groom had actually sent my FH an email awhile back asking if we are attending (my FH didn't think anything of it since I told him I mailed the response)......
anyway point of that long story is that I would definitely make room for the person and hope that they had some crazy mishap and weren't just being rude
*edit bc i can't spell

I would make room. I have a feeling this is going to happen to me at some point bc one friend of mine is very flaky. Can never tell what she is up to, and likes to randomly drop by. Love the girl to death, but it drives me crazy!!
I would speak to her/him after the wedding though. That's just plain rude

I'd make my favorite bridesmaid have a few WORDS with him/her, then find room for them. If it was someone invited only because of my mom, im sure my mother would give them enough nasty looks in time, and someone from FH's family I'd probably just seat them in the last place they'd want to sit 0:)!

If I invited them and they never RSVP'd but showed up, I'd make the room (annoyingly...). I'd only turn them away if they were never on the invite list to begin with...
