QOTD Wednesday 6/13

Good morning!

Hope everyone is having a Wonderful Wednesday despite the weather!!!

Today's QOTD is a fill in the blank:
If it wasn't for LIW I would have never _____________.

My answer:
I would have never known about all the different vendors that are available to me, personalized hanger, channa plaque, and all the different DIY projects I can do.

I also would not have this wonderful forum where I could get ideas and bounce off ideas from other brides. Also a place where I can vent.

A whole lot! I was pretty wedding clueless. Lol I prob would have never have found any of my vendors.. including my RH. I never knew much about LI (since Im from the Bronx) or that there were so many venues so the RH list was a huge help!

I also prob would have never known about boudoir photos or DOCs.

I would have never met such wonderful ladies! I never had a crazy close group of girlfriends but feel like I can count on my LIW ladies for anything! xoxo

I also would have never discoverd AJ Ingoglia or Cheeky Glam!

I would have never thought of all the little things like the personalized hangers or the channa plaque. I am not very DIY savvy but am thinking about tyring a lot of DIY after LIW!

If I had never come onto LIW, the acronym 'STDs' would still be holding a much different meaning to me.

I would have never realized all of the little things that you can DIY to bring a personal touch, no matter where your wedding is going to be!

I said that to a cowrkr one day and she was like what?! Lol.. I said opps Im using my wedding/LIW lingo...

I would say meet some awesome people, but I still haven't made it out to a get together. Yes, my work schedule is that kind of nuts. I wanted to go this friday- but my college roommate who I haven't seen in 4 years, I want in the wedding party (we're still close as hell) and recently lost a relative and needs a shoulder.. wants to see me.

So I said yes, and am flying to go see her.

Oh my gosh, everything!! Bridal Expos, hangers, all those little things. And my friends who have been here haven't seen any of these things either!!

If it wasn't for LIW - I probably wouldn't have booked the VYC, lancelot, or used RK Bridal to find my dress! I check the reviews before I book ANYTHING! Also - the extra touches and cute DIY ideas. I LOVE LIW.

i would never be so sane i think...be able to talk to you girls and see ideas and get advice and let out thoughts has been so helpful..also sometimes not eeveryone wants to hear more talk so even the smallest things we all get excited about and it feels good
