Happy Hump Day Ladies!!!! This week seems to be flying by for me!
When I was going dress shopping with my MOH this week she had asked me about the bachelorette (is that how you spell it?) party. She wanted to know what ideas I had and the list of do's and don'ts.
If you had your way how would you like to celebrate your b-party? Are there certain things that you don't want? You can give a realistic answer and a I know this is out of budget one.
Realistically I want something adventurous. Not too into the idea of relaxing at a spa all day because I like to be a busy body. Also since I am not a drinker I don't want to spend a whole night at a club. Some dancing is fine, but not all night. I would like something for a whole weekend. Maybe play some paintball together, go to an interactive show. Also a big don't on my list is a stripper.
My dream b-party would be if the girls and I could go away together like disneyworld/universal and get our Potter on. Or to the tropics where we can chill on the beach.

Well, my closest girlfriends and I are going to Vegas in November- but that's more like a 'one last trip as single gals' trip then a bachelorette party...for a b party, I think maybe going out to dinner at a nice restaurant, and then out to some bars- or a vineyard/spa day trip...something like that...I, personally am not into wearing a penis crown and all that stuff....

me and 2 of my girls are dreaming about new orlenes!!! but 2 of my other girls are mom's and cant really do it money wise and time away.

We are probably doing AC. I would love a day at the beach, a great dinner, some drinks and dancing. My friends are already threatening that i have to wear the 'suck for a buck' tshirt, but I am going to avoid that at all costs.
If I had my way, I would love a long weekend in the Caribbean with my very closest friends. That wont even be a possibility bc they are pretty much all mom's or dont have the time/money to spend on that type of party.

Right now I'm leaning towards a girls weekend at the beach. I'd love to rent a house, lounge on the beach all day and go out at night. I love all that silly, cheesy stuff. I want the crown, the sash and the light up rings. I think it's fun and when will I ever get to do that again?
My unrealistic idea is a weekend in Cabo or Miami-it'd be a little crazier but still so much fun.

I would love to take a cruise with my girls, but it's so expensive that its out of the question, but maybe a fun weekend trip could happen!

We're discussing one of 2 options. Either going to Vegas! Or down to Florida where one of my BM is currently living to enjoy the sun, and go out partying down there! We've actually already had a mini Bachelorette party for me. Me my MOH and one of our other girl friends were hanging out in Rochester and we thought it would be fun to go out to the club and pretend it was my bachelorette party. It was such a fun, spontaneous idea, and we had a great time!

I'm thinking vineyards by day with my girls and then an evening in the city: dinner and getting a nice suite in a hotel and having a big sleepover!
No strippers, no clubs!

Realistically I would love a night out dancing & just having a great time with my girlfriends like we use to do. My MOH knows I don't want a stripper- I think they are disgusting.
My dream b-party would be a trip to Vegas. Honestly no one in my bridal party can afford to go just for my b-party & I can understand that.

I honestly reallllyyyy want to go to Vegas. The last time my friends and I went together was 3years ago and we had a blast. If we do wind up going there, no one is obligated to come - I completely understand that it's a financial expense for everyone.
Realistically, I'd be happy with a weekend in AC or even dinner and a night out in the city.
I don't want any of the props that come along with a bachelorette party - tiaras, veils, penis straws, etc. If the girls get those for me I'll probably wear the sash to be festive but it's really not for me. Oh and no strippers whatsoever - men dancing around in banana hammocks doesn't do it for me.

I am hoping to convince all my ladies to do a B-Pic party for my bachelorette party. Then maybe we can hit up a bar later in the night.
I would only want 3 or 4 of my closest girlfriends and then maybe some LIW brides too :)

I want to have a weekend away with my girls. Originally I was saying that I wanted to go to vegas but I do not want my girls to have to spend so much money.

I'd love something low-key. No dangling penis necklace, penis stirrers, strippers, getting guys numbers or heavy drinking.
One of my bridesmaids is going to be 18 and even if I wanted to go to a bar, she couldn't go. So I'd like it to be family friendly.
I'd love to go to my favorite restaurant, eat, drink & enjoy being with my friends and family.
Though I do like the idea of the scavenger hunt, maybe where each clue is in a different restaurant...
