Happy Wednesday!

Or 'insomnia' Wednesday for me! This vacation is screwing me up- I woke up an hour ago and can't fall asleep. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain about being on vacation

Today's question has 2 parts....

What was/is your easiest vendor to book, and why?

What was you/is hardest vendor to book, and why?

The easiest vendor to book was DJ. We knew we wanted him after seeing him at a friends wedding, so we didn't even meet with anyone else!

The hardest thing for me, not really a vendor, has been the hotel block (GAH!). I think it is so hard because I'm trying to find a balance between a good price and a good distance from my RH.

I think the easiest vendor was the RH. I knew I wanted Giorgio's before I even came back to LI, and even though we looked at a few places, even FH knew he loved it when he walked in.

I think the hardest will be photography. Its our most important vendor and even thoguh we're willing to spend a bit more money, the one we want is out of our price range. We crossed all the ones on LIW off our list, and am not sure where else to look. Luckily enough we'll be home really soon and can do more work from the east coast,.

So far i think the RH was the hardest! I looked at 14 places before I decided on the North Ritz. I can't imagine seeing 14 vendors before I chose one

The easiest was prob limo, but I only say that bc that's the only vendor I looked at one of.

Easiest: Band - We saw our band multiple times at a few showcases and always came back to them! It was our first booked vendor aside from RH

What was you/is hardest vendor to book, and why? Photographer ...I was doubting my first choice and couldnt make a decision but finally decided to go with our photographer and couldnt be happier!!!!

FYI - My FBIL had his wedding at NRC and it wasnt anything short of AMAZING you will be sooo happy you choose that place!!!! AND it was raining and crappy out and it was still fabulous!!

The easiest ot book was the RH- after visiting several places, I just knew when I walked in that it was my place.

The hardest (so far) has been photograhper- mostly because FH & I liked a couple different ones and we are still trying to decide on what package to go with....

I think my easiest vendor to book will be limos because we know which company we are going to use..we just have to decide how many we need. We have used this company before on multiple occassions and have nothing but good things to say.

The hardest is probably every other vendor. I am a perfectionist and so far have researched each and every little thing. I show up with tons of questions, while FH does this: , but I need to know that everything will be as close to perfect so that I worry about nothing on my wedding day. I know that not everything will be perfect but hey that's life!

The easiest I would say was photography, we knew what we wanted and met with Memento Photography and they can give us everything we want and are awesome people with great pricing so that just clicked and was so easy, I plan on the DJ being easy too.

The RH was probably the hardest because we looked for a few weeks almost every day at other RH's before we found ours, once we found Giorgio's though it was EASY!

Easiest was the RH! As soon as we saw it, we knew it was the one!!! FH and I have been to a ton of weddings so it was pretty easy for us to make a list. It was the 2nd one we saw and ended up cancelling 2 other appointments we had for the following weekend! After the RH, photo was the easiest! We are 1000% sure we made the right choice!

Hardest so far has been DJ..but only because we just cannot find the time to go make appointments lately

Most fun was RH

Easiest was Photography. I went to the appointment knowing I was booking.

I'd say the easiest was photography. I had done a ton of research online but we had only gone on one physical appointment and ended up booking on the spot. I thought this would be the most difficult b/c we have very different taste in photography!

Hardest so far has been the DJ. Its hard to be able to schedule appointments during the week when we live in Brooklyn.

The easiest for us ended up being photographer! It was the one vendor we knew we were willing to spend a little extra on because 1. after it's over, the pictures are what live on and 2 my mom is a photographer so she wanted to be comfortable with who we booked.

When we met Rich and Mindi, we just loved their work and got a really good vibe from them as people...and it was really great to actually meet with the photographers and not a sales rep! It was just a good fit.

Hardest is either going to be transportation or accommodations. Transportation bc we got recommendations from friends about one company but have heard negative things on here, and we are looking to possibly get a trolley but the companies that have them don't have many reviews to go by!

Accommodations because the options are slim around our venue, and the nicest hotel is a good 20 min away! yikes!

Working on Photo right now and I am indecisive. I am never indecisive and it is making me go grey!

Easiest thing to book was definently my RH. I already knew I wanted JT but FH insisted we go to other places and check them out. But once I stepped into the room we wanted. We were sold.

The hardest was DJ!!! It's hard to find a good Latin Professional DJ who has MC's that speak both english and spanish fluently and are willing to work with you to provide you with specific type of spanish music you want. I'm glad I found our DJ. I can't wait to party.

The hardest vendor for me is the limos. For whatever reason I just can't get it together when it comes to the limos. I hope to have them booked by the summer.

Easiest were photographer and DJ because they're personal contacts and were no brainers and will do a great job.

Hardest is flowers even though they're another personal contact, i don't want to spend a ton.

They have all been pretty easy! I guess officiant because we met Rev Deb and booked her 20 minutes later and didn't even look at or talk about another officiant.

Hardest would have to be photobooth because I am having a hard time convincing FH we should get one!

ETA: Oh goodness, I forgot about flowers which are not fun for me and FH wants nothing to do with.

I still have plenty more vendors to go! So far...

Easiest Vendors -

1.DJ! We looked at one and booked on the spot. We went to 3 weddings with Bravura and absolutely loved them, so this was a no-brainer...

2.Hotel Block was easy too. I called one place they gave me a reasonable price that included bfast and shuttle buses in a nearby location - didn't bother looking elsewhere since I don't have many OOT guests

Hardest Vendors -

1. PHOTOGRAPHY! I actually cancelled a contract with one before decided on TP

2. RH... we looked at 9 and it was stressful! We narrowed it down to 3 and then we were just stuck! lol

Inbetween: DOC and Video (these were not top priority for us, so we didn't stress about it too much)
