QOTD- Wednesday, May 16

Well, my wedding is in 38 days and I already find myself dreading it being over! We spend so much time thinking, planning and getting ready for this day and then it's over in a flash.

My question is, what will you focus on after your day is over? Will you move right onto another venture (kids, house, etc) or will you take some time to relax and enjoy?

I would love to relax and enjoy, but at the same time, I'm in my mid-thirties already and will be starting to at least think of having a little one! Have already been dropping hints to FH, lol!

My Focus will go to my house, we are closing about a month before the wedding but it needs serious redecorating!

Finding a house! We are currently living in FMIL's house to save money and we HATE it there...its terrible really. I am working 10+ hour work days just so I don't have to come home. :(

I have to admit there is a void now that my wedding planning is over

Right now, I'm looking forward to our HM which will be in June. I get to go SHOPPING!!!!!!!

As everyone told me, the day goes sooo fast and now that I am married, I can tell you..it's so true!! Stop one time during the wedding and take it all in and enjoy the moment and the party going on..

With that said, I'm actually feeling a bit relieved it's all over and have more time to focus on our lives together We would like to start a family right away,,, since we are both approaching 40. We already have a house. But, everyone is different, at different ages or stages in life... everything falls into place....just taking it done day at a time!

After we get married we are going to start on kids actually on our HM we are going to work on that we live with his mom right k=now but she will be moving out after the wedding so we can make her room into the nursery but we do want to save for a house or condo also but I think our goal will be kids only cause I just turned 30 and FH turned 40 so we need to get a move on

Since we are both over the age of 35, we are trying to work on a family and buy a house
we already live in a Huge apartment, so really no rush
what ever happens first

I've got a lot on my plate for after the wedding: I'm a teacher and next year is my tenure year so I'll be looking forward to that. We have a cruise planned in February with 15 of our friends. We are planning on getting getting our basement finished sometime in the next year. And I have to go back to school to get my masters, which means researching schools here in Jersey, applying, and then getting to work! Phew!
