Good Morning everyone!

I was talking with my MOH yesterday about my wedding dress and told her that when I saw it on the rack, I absolutely hated it. Obviously, when I put it on, I was in love though She said that she had the same experience. So it brings up today's question:

What was your opinion of your wedding dress *before* you put it on? What did you / didn't you like about it?

I hated the fact that mine had a design on the top and bottom of the gown and just didn't think it was very me (i'm not too much of a girly-girl and i like simple things). I put it on and looked like this icon:

The second I saw it on the hanger I knew. Actually my initial reaction (because the woman was bringing me things I didn't like) was 'Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!' I literally said that to the saleswoman, lol.

I'm usually pretty good at seeing stuff on a hanger and knowing whether or not it's for me. And this was definitely for me

It was one that I picked off the website. But it wasnt my 1st choice- it was further down the list. But once i put it on I thought wow- it makes me look skinny! So that was my deciding factor!

i loved it when i saw it on the mannequin in the store window. they had to take it off so i could try it on lol. but the second i put it on, my face lit up and i knew it was the one. i tried on a few more dresses to be sure and i kept comparing all the dresses to THAT one dress.

When I saw it online (beccca actually posted it when I was in search for it)....I thought Ehhhhhhhh its okay?? didn't really get that WOAH factor......then when I tried it on and saw it on myself in person, I LOVED it. It was on the manequin when I walked in bc they had just got it, and I literally said WOAH thats beautiful.....they took it off, I tried it on, and the rest is history!!!!!!!!

that model online aint got nuttin on meeeeeeeeee!

I was the opposite, my eyes LIT up when I saw it on the hanger. I actually had it in my head that I wanted a Maggie Sottero dress, so I was only really looking at that rack. Someone had mistakenly put the Enzoani back on the Maggie rack and that's how I found it. I looked at the lace and the beading at the top and knew I had to try it on. When I asked the saleswoman about it she said 'Actually, that's not a Maggie, that's Enzoani!' I couldn't believe it, but I was pretty much sold.

It was actually one I saw online and loved mostly but two things I wasn;t sure I would like on me were the big bow in the back and the asymmetrical neckline. In the end I adore everything about it!!!!

When i first sat it i felt like 'it has potential' i was just doubting it a little bc off the rack it seemed like alot of beading. But once I put it on I was glowing it was everything I was looking for in a dress. Then on the way out of the store the dress I wore for my city hall ceremony caught my eye. They both were exactly what I had in mind.

I had no desire to try it on. It was okay and I didn't think that I would buy a gown with pickups. Long behold I try it on and I am in love It looked like the dress was made for me!

i was looking for lace, mermaid... but the storelady and my mom convinced me to try it on...

i tried it on and got the woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh feeling

i fell in love with my dress online and when i saw it in person and tried it on i knew it was the one!

I went in the store with a few in mind, but after I tried them on-I didn't like them. Then, my mom and BM started pulling dresses they thought I'd like and when I put 'it' on, it was the only dress I felt like a bride in. And the only dress I tried on that my mom, sis & BM all cried to.

I brought apick with me to the store. It was the first she pulled from the rack. She showed me on the hanger and I gasp'd.... To say I knew right away it was the one is an understatement. It was also the first I tried on. I tried many others on to make sure and there were 2 close seconds but I knew in my gut, she was right for me!

I liked my dress but I didn't love it. I thought it didn't have enough bling. I thought it lacked the things that I wanted. I put it on anyway and then I absolutely fell in love. Once it was on my body I didn't want to EVER take it off.

I stalked my dress on line for like 2 months before it was available in the store and honestly I knew it was the one just from seeing it online. It had the romantic but sexy feel that I was going for (mermaid, lace, ivory)

When I went to the store to try it on, I immediately got the feeling and I didn't want to take it off!!! I danced in it at the store, pretended to walk down the aisle, and sat in it all with a big on my face!!!

I tried on two other dresses when I was there but they were more like princess dresses and I knew that style wasn't for me.

it wasnt one of the dresses i went in looking to try on... i tried on all the dresses i asked her for and then she gave me the most recent book and i asked her for my dress... i liked it but i didnt get anything like super omg i want that from the picture... just something else that i liked
