I want EVERYONE to be a part of the QOTD today so I hope this one a little easier for EVERYONE to answer...
Everyday while commuting to work I listen to my ipod and everyday a song comes on that brings be back to a special time with FH.
Today's question is what song instantly reminds you of FH or a time with FH every time you hear it????
Mine is Jason Marz - If it Kills Me. After dating only 8 months my FH got a huge promotion and had to move to New Jersey from Boston. We did the long distance thing until I finally moved here in March. Every time this song would play I would instantly be reminded that no matter how far we are away from each other - we will do anything to be with each other. I would find myself listening to it every other Friday night when I would drive 5+ hours from Boston to NJ to see him. All those miles paid off though!!

when we first starting dating we use to hang out at karoke bars alot and he would ALWAYS sing this song...mind u he can not sing at all but swears when he is drunk he could hit all the high notes

Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. We bowled on the same league for 3 yrs, and we never spoke, not one hello. My last yr of bowling, I gave him my #. Some of the lyrics makes me think about those 3 yrs. Then there's Keith Urban's 'Making Memories of Us' Everywhere we went I took pics, and he always tried ti 'up' each place be took me to.
Before we dated, we both has a ltr that ended very badly, we both were hurt terribly. I had issues of trust, and told him so. The song that reminds me of FH is 'with or without' not because of the lyrics, but because FH likes to sing so he re-make this song and he used to always sing it to me ahhhhh!

Before we ever officially 'hung out' we use to talk on the phone and he was away on a baseball tournament sitting in the bathroom of his hotel room because his room mate was sleeping and he asked me what kind of music i listened to and i told him country and in this really hick voice he sang i am pretty sure the only country song he knew at the time
now he listens to all country
omg...the same thing happened to me and my FH only opposite...with the same exact song!!!

i have SOO many!
one is 'wonderwall' by oasis. he used to play it for me and when i had a surprise for him for his bday years ago i had it playing in the background
thats so funny you should say that bc we actually considered this for our wedding song.....

oh...what makes me think of my FH is anything country....but mostly that 'alright' song by darius rucker ( plz dont kill me if i dont spell it right) he is the biggest country fan EVER!!!!

It feels like home- chantal kreviazuk wicked games- chris isaak U2 song or Coldplay- all of them Realize- Colby Caillet Your my best friend- Queen Roxanne- bc our dogs name is roxy Everything- Lifehouse Linkin park- bc this is what he listens to before all of his games to get him GAME READY Eye of the tiger- he is a huge rocky fan

Summer of 69. When FH and I first dated back in 2001, he drove this huge old mustard yellow car with a tape deck. One of his mixed tapes had that song on it and we always called it 'our song' during our summer romance. We still call it our song and I'm excited to dance to it at our wedding.
