How has your impression of the people on this bored changed since you first started posting? Has it changed for the better or the worse or has it not changed at all?


I think that my first impressions of the 09 brides were pretty accurate. Everyone was so nice and helpful when I first started posting and I feel that that has continued (except for that one time when we had haters talking smack about some of the girls on another forum)

I dont wanna start up drama (again) but some girls(who I dont think r on here anymore) went on another forum and talked alot of s hit about some of the brides on here. Really nast stuff!

I think for the most part my generalization remained the same. I didn't think I would post on the forums initially, but I got s uck ed in.

I don't have many girlfriends (SHOCKING, I know), so it was nice to have girls to talk to about girl things. I know I come off as a royal biznatch sometimes, so god only knows the impression some have of me lol, but I think overall I'm pretty cool, and overall that you all are too

ETA: apparently LIW has a bad impression of me too because a simple verb was edited on me

Me too! And the ones I do have aren't getting married any time soon and aren't from around here so I don't have anyone to help me with ideas. Even my sister bailed and moved to Colorado. FH tries to be helpful but he's a boy.

My impression has stayed the same to.I knew nothing about wedding planning before I came on here. Everyone has helped me out a lot. Of course theres drama every now and then but I mean we are females its going to happen. Im so glad Im on LIW Ive met some great people :)

same here. Ive always had a lot of problems with finding good friends so its nice to come on here and talk to all of you girls. Plus I dont have much help either bc Im like the first one of my friends and family to get married

its so funny cause when i first posted it was on bhb..i didnt see the 09 boards and i asked about a prob i was having and i must say i got some hurtful responses sorta liked name calling then one girl fm me and was liek u cannot look so into what everyone says its opnions so i was like whatever just keep going so i go more on 09 now and i can say u girls r totally the best...

I don't understand people! How can you be mean to someone you don't even know?! Luckily I haven't seen any of that on this board.

I actually posted a mini-review awhile back about my vendor searching experience. I thought that it's nice to know who people picked ultimately in their real review and how the day turned out but it's also nice to know who else they met with during planning and their impressions. So a couple of brides on BHB were a little snotty and said things like 'You shouldn't do a review until after your wedding. It's a rite of passage and some brides take it very seriously.'

i know right..it was like my second post and i wrote about something saying i was down in the dumps and should i feel this way and like 4 or 5 girls were like u r being so stupid?? only i girl wasliek dont worry it will get better..i was not looking for a pity party just advice and i got shot down lol good thing i went to 09 boards..i always welcome opnions from everyone no matterwhat but this was name calling

I dont understand how people can be so rude. If you dont want people to ask for advice and your just going to be rude then why are you here? I remember before I came on LIW i was on the knot and everyone was soo mean. One day I asked a question and they were all like why dont you get a life. I was like f this and then I went on LIW... and have been happy ever since the end lollll. I dont know about everyone else but I dont want my engagement to end bc I dont want LIW to end :):):)
