What's the best piece of advice you've gotten from the board since being on?

It can be a tip, a 'newlywed regret' that you are going to watch out for, a certain vendor or an idea for your wedding....

What's the best piece of advice you've gotten from the board since being on?


1. Reapply lipstick often. I made sure that SFP0214 had her lipstick on throughout the wedding.

2. Make a photo list. Need to do that soon to get it ready.

3. Get pictures done as soon as possible. I'm going to attempt to get to my cocktail hour.

I probably would have never known about this:

To number your RSVP's - b/c many people do respond without including their name....even if it's done in pencil on the back or on the envelope somewhere....alwasy make sure you number them!

I was just thinking the same thing!

Lots of great advice but the one that comes to me right now is to keep reapplying lipstick.

Honestly, don't sweat the small stuff. I totally need to take this advice now!

Also, marriage is compromise. Each person has to give a little sometimes for the relationship to work.

Stop worrying about what everyone else thinks

Another great piece of advice:

Make sure someone is in 'charge' of you - making sure you're hydrated and fed...the last thing any of us need is passing out b/c of dehydration or exhaustion.

I agree - I really think the lipstick thing is KEY!

#1 Make a photo list.
#2. Numbering rsvp's

This is definitely number 1 for me, I wouldn't even have thought of it.

I had never even hard of it until girls were posting pics on the site and I made an appt right then to go look at it. Fh and I fell in love. So that was a good find.

I'm not sure what else. it's been a lot of little things!

Ooh, there's so many!!!! Without this site I would seriously be completely lost during this whole process!!!
I'd have to say putting a # on the RSVPs is def up there!!! That's prob the BEST piece of advice I've gotten so far. Also the must-take picture list.

i think the best tip is to number your rsvp cards. i never thought to do this and its the most ingeneous idea ever

i also never would've found my hall w/o liw.
