Im watching VH1 the fabulous life of.... and they are talking about Hollywood moms who have nannys. They said that when Gwyneth had Apple she said she WOULD not hire a nanny and everyone in Hollywood freaked out. Madonna has 2 nannys one for each child. And she also has a 'manny' a man nanny for so that when Guy is away her kids have a male influence.
I honestly even if I was loaded don't think I'd have a nanny. Whats the point?
DISCLAMER: I don't mean to hurt anyones feelings who have Nannys. This is my own mental problem and my opinion

Re: QOTD: Would you hire a nanny for your kids?
I think it depends on how many hours the nanny is there and is she a live in...I was a nanny for many years and I personally want to be home as much as possible with my children..no matter how great the nanny may be..theres nothing like a moms love. I understand though that both parents may need to work, or choose to work..so a nanny may be needed....but I think parents need to spend a significant amount of time with their children. I was a nanny to a family where I was there when the boys woke up and went to sleep, basically the children saw their parents on weekends..they were millionaires..but those kids didnt care..they needed their parents. Very sad
