QOTD............1/29/09

Ok ladies its about that time of night for the QOTD

I know wedding planning can be annoying and stressful, but it can also be fun and exciting. With all the stress that planning a wedding brings I want to bring back some of the fun.

What has been your favorite part of planning your wedding?

I would say, cheesily enough, knowing that at the end of it that I'll finally be own my own, like a real adult, with FH.

The planning is slowly killing me I've decided...I'm not having fun anymore and I just want it to be over lol.

I think its the fact the FH & I are making big decisions on our own.

And designing my own wedding dress!!!!

For me I LOVED looking at the RHs with FH and dress shopping.

RH was great b/c it was the first thing FH and I got to do as an engaged couple and I loved wondering around all the halls.

Dress shopping was great b/c I never have anyone make a fuss over me and the bridal consultants were constantly getting my gowns and I loved every second of it.....even when I was in the ugly ones. Plus when I found THE DRESS and my mom and sister were both with me made the shopping that much better

Hehe buying my shoes was a close 3rd though....I'm a big shoe girl

Picking out my dress! It is the one thing that I picked out without taking anyone else's opinion into consideration.

Being able to design my own invitations and having the final say on all aspects. Can't wait to receive them!

I love being busy and creative with planning the shower, and with Debi, preparing all the baskets, bows, etc. I got a lot of joy out of that!!! Mary MOB

just the time fh and i have spent together talking bout our day,our new place,and hopefully our family..as corny as it sounds the flowers can be beautiful,the dress can be perfect but all i care about is being with him for that day enjoying our first day as man and wife

Its all been so much fun!! FH and I are in this together and its fun planning the rest of our lives.

From a fantasy aspect and as a true girlie girl, I have to say that the 3 or 4 dress try on trips were AWESOME...everything I dreamed it would be and more!!

The most emotionally fulfilling though, was booking the church-we are getting married in the church my parents were wed in way back in 1976. Since my dad passed in 94, that will be a wonderful way to subtly honor his memory. So being there with the priest was one of the most amazing moments in my life.

For me it was looking at RH with FH. It was so fun looking at all the places and then walking into JT and knowing that this was 'IT'. I didn't think that we would be able to make it work with our budget but Rob was fantastic and made it work.

was finding my dress... my experience was so over the top, they made me feel like a celebrity and i met the designer and she is changing a detail on the dress to make mine one of a kind!!!

my favorite part of planning the wedding, is actually, all the steps that FH and i have taken since we first started talking about it. we have come so far in a few months and we are so happy with what we are doing and we are just excited to be marrying each other!

ETA: i would say dress shopping too, but i only tried a few on. i'm a FREAK for a pretty dress so once i found the one i was in love with i stopped trying anymore on!

OK so I hate shopping no matter what it's for. I was even dreading going shopping for my dress but it's done . SO GLAD

I think my favorite part is the fact that FH is so involved in the planning with me it makes it so much easier
