So onto the QOTD.....
At what point did you sstop and think to yourself... OH MY GOD.... this just might be the person I end up with?

While on our first date I sent a text to the friend who set us up. I wrote 'I LOVE HIM' - which is unlike my scorpio persona. We just clicked! We were together and going stong for a long while... then hit a bumpy road, moved in together... it continues to be bumpy for a little bit...then once we got through that he proposed! I think deep down I kind of always knew it would work out.. or I probably wouldn't have moved in with him while we were in the mist of a bumpy patch of our relationship. I knew I had to give it a good try and see where it took us but at the same time..... I somewhat figured it would lead to a wedding an marriage! And so here we are now!

So onto the QOTD.....

Our first date.........we were set up on a blind date & I just knew it when I looked into his eyes for the first time. We were engaged one year later........ :)

When we were together the first summer- we went to a hotel to spend the night, FH turned to me a said,ddontget attached, i dont do long distance well, this is just a summer thing. I turned back to him, and said yea? We will see, but i can promise u, ur wrong. Ur stuck with me. Then i kissed him turned over and went to sleep!
that night i just knew!

the first night we hung out he called me afterwards at like 4am we talked for hours after i got off the phone I was like yeahi just met my husband

FH and I were friends for soooo long in fact we both had other people in our lives when we met. I think we both leaned on each other during the most difficult times in those failed relationships and it brought us closer together. Eventually he told me he was in love with me and that he would one day win heart..he was right
It was our destiny!!

i knew right away...i had known him for so long before that so once it bacame romantic..i knew..we already had the friendship..now we had the love too

Cheesily enough, the second we met. I had just gone through a really rough patch...and with him, I didn't feel threatened, and I felt safe. Which is ironic, because they way we met was under such predatory circumstances, he approached me at Starbucks because his car battery died and he needed a jump...and I'm not the kind of girl to go out into a dark parking lot alone at night jumping strange men's cars.

But after that we bonded, and I forgot that I hadn't known him my whole life. It's weird...like when I think back to middle school I forget that he wasn't sitting next to me in math, and he didn't take me to my prom. It just feels like he was there with me, in spirit, and that we were always supposed to be together, and that's how I knew.

FH and I have been friends since we were 14 yrs old. He used to walk me to and from the bus stop! During HS all of my friends always told me that he liked me but I never saw him that way. I just saw him as one of my best friends.

After HS he needed a place to stay and my parents loved him so they let him stay with us. One day I got home from work and found a note in my room from him. The note said, in so many words, that he liked me for a long time and would like to take our relationship to the next level. So, I really didn't know what to do and I talked to my friends about it and they all said I should do it. While riding in the car one day I heard the song 'Head Over Feet' by Alanis Morissette and just knew that I had to give it a shot with him. Well, we started dating and it was great for a little while and then he decided he was going to move to Florida where his mom was and try to get on his feet. So we broke up and stayed in contact for a little while. Then we drifted apart...he had his life and I had mine.

Well, fast forward to 2006 and the world of myspace. I was searching around on Myspace and found his brother. I contacted his brother and asked him for FH's number and gave him mine to give. Two weeks went by and I had not heard anything so I decided to contact his brother again. That same day his brother contacted me back with FH's number and a message from FH to give me a call (FH lived in Charlotte, NC at the time). I was sooo excited I couldn't wait to get home. Not at the prospect of rekindling an old relationship, but to catch up with an old friend. So I got home that night ready to call him. I walk into my apartment and realize there is a black-out...lol. So, as I am waiting for the power to come back on FH called me! We were on the phone for HOURS. After that night, we spoke on the phone everyday for hours upon hours. Then we decided it was time to see each other. I flew to Charlotte and we spent an amazing weekend together. It was at that point I knew we were going to be together forever. Shortly after my visit it was Labor Day weekend and he came to NY to visit me. On that visit we both decided that long distance was out and one of us had to move. Needlesstosay, one month later FH packed up his cat and moved to NY. We have been together ever since. We bought a house and now we are getting married!

Well FH and I dated and then took a break ( a long one for about 8 months)

all through out that time I never stopped thinking about him. It was as if I knew he was the person I was meant to be with and I couldn't let go. He sent me a 'Hi how are you' email after 8 months of no communication and my heart STOPPED. We then went on to re-connect.

So long story short, I always knew but when I 'let him go' and he actually came back. I really knew!

The second we met! (Not to sound corny)

I met him in my parent's kitchen because he was just the friend of my twin sister's new boyfriend.. so FH was under the impression he was coming to the beach on LI in the summer to meet his bf's new gal... and low and behold.. the new gal has a twin.. me! I thought it was so cute how he felt so comfortable in my house enough to walk around in bare feet! I don't know why, but I think I fell in love with him right there.

This is corny but when I first met him - there was something in his eyes and the way he tried so hard to engage me. But it was definitive the moment he met my 5 year old and saw how much he cared for her like she were his own.

Of course i had to break up with him at least once before we go to this point but we're here and that's what counts right?!
