Good morning! Today's question is: Did you always think you would be married at a certain age? How close to that age are you actually getting married?
I'm pretty close to my ideal 'marrying age' but I don't think I ever took into account how long it takes to plan a wedding! So I'll be slightly older when I actually get married. I always knew I would be in my late 20's though!

When I was younger, I wanted to be married by 24 and then I hit my 20s and realized, yeah.....Im not ready to get married! Ill be 26 when we get married and now Im ready. I wanted to be engaged by our friends wedding in May last year and he asked me in Feb of last year so it worked out

I always thought mid to late 20's but was so not right about that one LOL I look back now and realize I was so not ready then. Everything happens for a reason! I will just turn 36 a week before my wedding.

I also wanted to be married at 24-- I'll be 25 when I get married so it's pretty close. I feel like I'm at the perfect stage in my life to be married so I don't mind that I'm a year behind. During that year I was able to build my career so it worked out.

I always thought I'd be around 23. I got engaged was I was 24 and I will have Just turned 26 the week before my wedding when I finally get married. I'm so glad I didnt get married too young. Everything worked out perfectly!!

Of coarse as girls we think about these things. But when it comes down to it, isn't it about finding the right partner not your age when you do so?

I'm sure when I was much younger I thought I would be married right out of college. But I also thought I would be marrying Justin Timberlake sooo...
I never really had a number in mind for when I wanted FH and I to get married. We've been dating since we were teenagers and we both knew we would get married one day. It was more about when we were financially able to take care of ourselves. We waited until we got our careers going before we moved in together and then got engaged 6 months later.

Before I met FH I actually thought I'd never get married. Not that I didn't want to, but I didn't think I'd find a guy who was worth it and wanted to get married to. (Bunch of losers I was dating lol) But I always said if I ever did, I'd want to get married and have my 1st child after 30 but before 35. I will be married at 31 and we plan to start trying for a baby a year after the wedding so its going according to 'plan'!

I always wanted to be married at 23 and pregnant by 25. Then at 23, I realized how young I was! I will be 25 for the wedding and want to wait a few years for baby thoughts!

I always wanted to get married before I was 25 and I will be 25 on my wedding day. I think we are both at the perfect place in our lives with our careers so it is perfect timing.

I always thought I'd be married and trying for a baby before 25. I'll be 27 when we get married so I'm a little delayed. We plan to try for a baby pretty soon after the wedding so hopefully before 30

i thought i would have a career, be married and have a kid by 25..LOL Even though I have been dating my FH since I was 19 (sophomores in college), we waited until now (age 27) to get married. There was a lot of growing pains from age 19 until now so I am glad we waited.

I thought I'd get married at around 25-26. I got engaged at 22, and will get married the day before my 24th birthday, so I'm not too far off I guess!

I thought I would be married by my early 20's. When I was a bit older I said I wanted a child more than a husband lol Ill be getting married at 33 with a 2 year old daughter lol I guess it worked out cause I had the baby before getting married lol

I think when you're younger you think 'Oh, I'll be married in my early-mid twenties' and then you (or rather I did haha) realize, yeahhhh I would have never been ready for marriage at that age!
I tell every one now to wait until they are in their 30's.

I'm 27 and always thought I'd be married with at least one kid by now lol. I dated a guy for 6 years, so I really thought it was heading towards marriage. But the last 3 years were very verbally/emotionally abusive and realized that I'd rather be single than go through what was going on anymore. I'm very lucky I waited and didn't just settle; I found the love of my life almost 3 years later.
