Good morning girls!!!

Let's say we are all writing our own vows for the ceremony. What is one sentence that you would write that would really speak volumes about your relationship?

FH and I are writing our own vows. Here's one line from mine that I really love...




Thank you for showing me what it means to have fearless trust, you have taught me how to let my guard down and be able to love freely and wholeheartedly.

somtehing about 'favorite'

just cuz usually we might say something like 'your my favorite'

i like yours tho. there is a line by a poet that goes something like ' love is not love until one is vulnerable.' such a good line!

I like the last line we've chosen for our vows...it is a quote from a song that FH sang to me early on in our relationship when I was sick. I kept throwing up and I needed to keep water down or I was going to have to go to the hospital...I really didn't want that so I asked him to sing to me and this is a line from the song he sang (a metallica song haha)

'Never opened myself this way; life is ours, we'll live it our way. All these words I don't just say, and nothing else matters.'

ok stupid story and I'm not sure I'd really say this but I *might* engrave it in his wedding band...

'I'd drown for you'

first time FH said he loved he it really took me by surprise. To be honest it was very early in our relationship. I'd say tops 2 months... anway...he tells me he loves me and I said... REALLLLYYY????? (all giddy like) he said yes, I said I loved him too... then I said 'well if you love me would you die for me?' (idk where this came from) he said I 'well that depends how would I be dying? Would I take a bullet for you? Of course, I'm a guy I have to do that...' I said... 'okay that was an easy one.. would you drown for me?' he said..' NO! That's like fukcing torture!' we laughed and then later on he told me he loved me again and that yes, he would drown for me (I didn't even ask that time)

so I guess I would have to incorporate that line in there somewhere.

Probably a line from our wedding song 'Love Song' (the 311 version)...

'Whenever I'm alone with you, you make me feel like I am home again.'

this is pretty cheesy but:

'You taught me to smile again and laugh every day'

BUT funny story... When I met FH he would always tell me:
' You will see... I will grow on you, like Fungus' and he did!

love everyone's responses! awww.....

I would say: 'you're my best friend, and I love you SO MUCH - to the edge of the universe and back - not because of your best qualities but because of your faults, that what makes you special to me'

the SO MUCH thing is this thing that we say to each other. one of us asks the other 'how much do you love me?...' and the answer always has to be 'SOOOOO MUCH', otherwise you re-ask and re-ask until you get that one
haha kinda silly....

FH and I are also writing our own vows ... my last line is:

'So for the very last time ever, I'd like to say 'I Love You, fiance'. I look forward to 5 minutes from now when I can say 'I love you, hubby''
